So the 18v li ion batteries are different than the 20v li ion batteries, I guess that's where the confusion is I thought all li ion batteries were 20v, Can my dewalt dc825 accept an 18v li ion battery?

One more question, do the li ion batteries use the same charger as the ni cad batteries cause I only see the ni cad charger but everywhere is saying it charges all. And again im not going to do that to my radio I was just curious is all and no one could answer it lol.

Im just wondering if theres a limit as to how much can be plugged in to the radio? Can I some how overload it if I say plugged in a whole bunch of splitters to it and a bunch of power tools? Not that I would just home depot nor fastenal could answer that question yesterday when I purchased it.

Fixed. New nose cone and some tiny part in the mechanism assy. I didnt get to talk to the guy as I was on lunch. The 825 is better than the one I am using now.

Yes I know its apart guy at the tool repair shop seemed to know how to put it together. Ill find out tomorrow. I live in canada so buying off ebay may not be a wise choice cause ill have shipping and duty.

Got a nose cone locally and a 15$ part the tool repair guy said nothing of a broken hammer and said the the 825 was worth fixing cause it still worked. In the end ill have spent 210$ on 2 impacts, a drill, 4 batteries, 2 chargers, I'd like to see you find that somewhere else! lol.

Thanks for replying, How is the hammer broken?, Ive gone through the parts list and it comes down to something in the mechanism assy holding it together is missing. Can you give me some insight as to what else you think is missing?

I got this with 2 batteries and charger for 50$ and the previous owner dropped it and the nose cone broke and the mechanism assy fell out and came undone ill upload a pic of what I have can somebody please point out what I am missing and how I can reassemble the mechanism assy? Thanks I think I am missing some kind of c clip and possibly one more bearing race?
