    I almost bought the deal of the day yesterday but I forgot, they were saw horses for $14.95 regularly $39.95, but today they are $19.95....I high hopes of an actual deal got shattered.....I feel that HD's DOTD are better deals or I have seen better deals. But saving money anyway possible is great, but it has to be a great deal for me to jump the gun and drain my wallet (which I have done all to often :) )

    yeah u r right - they jumped to 19.98...I think that's the normal price and not 40 lol. I still have to go down the hill to pick them up. i might have to think about it

    Eric and another guy started it which at first was just the site, no YouTube back then. They other guy lost interest which eventually led to Dan coming aboard and getting the YouTube channel going.

    The forum came along and at that time was one of the very first tool forums on the web. It was kinda neglected when I signed up in 2009 or so and before long there was nobody left and it was ate up with spam, pretty much dead. In 2011 Wayne Burgess and I started new accounts and started posting again. Eric and Dan wanted to revive it and put us in charge of it. We eventually got it cleaned up and people started posting again.

    Wayne had some family issues and pretty much quit coming. By that time we had guys like DR99 and ChrisK posting regularly, so we managed to survive.

    The forum is still growing and I couldn't be happier. It's a great place to hang out.

    great story and yes its growing like crazy :D

    exactly you tell them you lost receipt and get store credit.....if it is brand new and all there they will sell it.....

    then they send you to the customer service desk and they ask you questions like, email address, phone number, mailing address to pull up the Ordernumber.

    if they cant find anything you cant return it. they need the Order# to return online items. HD stores cant sell the online items in the store, they go straight back to the warehouse.

    i dont know hows in canada comp but here in the states it works like that :P

    yup blue teams saw has those specs too. i dont do much metal work but if....i take a look at the Bosch's first and prolly compare it to the ridgid one.

    I've got to much blue in my shop to just throw something orange between it :P
