  3. Quick desk project today, kid wanted an 11 foot by 7 foot L shaped desk. I went with oak and trimmed it with clear pine....squared up cedar posts for legs clear coated everything.....

  7. little etched window from the stairway side, it is about 10 feet up so it is not for looking into master bedroom just for natural light.......

  9. continuing on with floor, needed a stair nose to meet flooring, I refused to buy one for the money they want so I made one with black ask the same as the rest of the stairs I already made. Will stain it to match ....

  12. ok so nothing better than seeing the electrical getting connected, all rooms get LED lighting, ethernet, cable TV, and HDMI as well.....
  13. another room primed and ready for paint......master bedroom, not huge 13' x 15' but will have 9' x 11.5' ensuite
  14. thanks regopit, ya a roller would probably be good too as I generally make my joints way wider than most on finish coats.... the result try finding one....lol
  15. thanks big Mike..... well the landing/sitting area/open office space/sewing area/ not sure what to call it.....primed and ready for paint.....it is only about 7'x 10.5' so it can't be much more than that....
  16. finally first sign of primer and paint being put on the walls, all the time mudding is paying off now as the lines are all crisp and clean....

  18. make your own coupler with 2.5" pipe by cutting a slit and wrapping tape and a hose clamp around it.
  19. finally getting to the third coat of mud, the lines are all getting crisp little more in a couple spots and a quick sanding (I say quick as it looks ready now) and primer then paint.....even the little guy approves....
  20. I feel the same way don't think I have taken a bath my entire adult life, a shower once or twice a month is good.....lol but happy wife happy life now all she wants is I shower twice as much....haha
  21. I suggest build a box with a door under saw and have your connector off on the side this way you can clean it out if bigger pieces get pulled down with a 90 it can clog right away kind of like in picture
  22. nice looking bathroom, I am in the middle of putting one in right now, not quite $5000 but close....only difference is mine will have a free standing faucet ....good thing for me is the room right below it is gutted so ceiling is exposed so some work can be done from below as well.
