I don't know if anyone is interested in this, but here is the Safety Data Sheet for the BL1840B battery. http://docs-europe.electrocomponents.com/webdocs/13ae/0900766b813ae24a.pdf

It says right there, Free organizer when you buy the tool box and gear cart. I don't see what is so confusing.

Here are the photos of where they escaped. https://www.flickr.com/photos/governorandrewcuomo/sets/72157654070293876/ Looks like they had a cord. I see some holes that look like they are from a rotary hammer. And I think the cut in the pipe looks like it was made with a reciprocating saw.

Makita owns Makita. Hitachi owns Hitachi.

Looked into it and it seems you can opt out. http://www.viglink.com/opt-out/ Apparently, it sets a cookie on your computer that disables viglinks. Seems to be working.

I don't know about anyone else, but I find Viglink extremely annoying. I mean, all right, I get why. But clicking a link that I think a forum member put in their post and then being brought to some completely irrelevant link its extremely annoying. Take this post, for example, http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/6142-makita-100-year-anniversary-tools-with-an-awesome-paint-job-team-teal-will-love-this/?p=60419, I think it is a link DR99 posted, and I click it because I am familiar with the person posting it and would assume the link is relevant to the subject, but it a viglink which leads to a website selling herbal supplements.Come on, really? It just seems like a really annoying way to create revenue. Maybe you could at least make the links a different color, as to differentiate which link the user intentionally posted and which are viglinks. .

Bought A Blaklader jacket from them after I saw it on TIA

Found this in the new products page of the Italian 2015 catalog.

Awesome, I've been hoping the blower was coming out here soon, since I first saw it on the Japanese Makita website.
-
I have two 3.0 and two 5.0. I also have the dual port rapid charger (DC18RD).

To be honest, between the massive amounts of snow we have had up here, and lots of overtime I have worked this winter, I really haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces yet. I let you know after I give it a good workout. Should be soon with the weather turning.
-
Of course these are coming out. I just bought 2 5.0aH batteries.
-
I use that drill all the time at work and have never run into that issue.

I was poking around on the Makita Japan site and saw this. If I'm reading it right it is more than 3 times as powerful as the current X2 blower. (13.4m3/min vs. 4.4m3/min). I've been itching to buy the blower, but now I might hold off until I can get my hands on this baby.

The PLS 4is my favorite laser.

So, ever since Makita released the X2 Chainsaw XCU02Z (formerly HCU02ZX2) I have been eyeballing it. Everywhere listed it as $369.00. Too expensive, especially considering I already own a gas saw. The other day I was on the HD website and I looked it up and they are selling it for $199.00! Sweet. i ordered it and it shipped today. Should be here by Monday. I can't wait to put it to use. Now I just need to get my hands on a couple 5.0 batteries.
-
So. where the hell are my 5.0 batteries?
-
The technology is interesting, but I can't really think of what I would use one for.

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy a rivet gun atachment for a drill? http://www.amazon.com/Allstar-Performance-ALL18205-Rivet-Cordless/dp/B003BZQ6KY
