That looks like a fun job. I saw the cordless coffee maker and I'm guessing sump pumps made by Makita or at least branded by them?
Yup indeed. works of AC power or of Battery. Funny little thing. It's good that it costs almost nothing and that they give it away free with alot of tools =p

Well seeing how the blue professional tools are very expensive in belgium most people who dont need tools for their trade buy Bosch green

Hello Everyone !
Name is Dominic. I'm from Belgium and since 5 years I work in a Belgium Hardware store where my main responsability is Makita. I got about 17 meters of Makita tools in the store
I'm the bearded guy in the picture.

Arent those things VERY expensive and probably dont sell in large volume?
-
I'd make a guess that profit is one of the main reasons. Companies after all

In cinderblock I see a 36Volt model being ok. you will burn trough batteries fast tho. In concrete? I think you'd want to stick with the corded solution for that.
As for options there is the 36Volt Makita DHR262 or the 18Volt X2 model if you already have any 18Volt batteries or you want these batteries to fit any future 18Volt tools.

You do need flash player for the link doesnt work on my tablet neither.
The 4 stroke tools are selling nicely so far. Not a single problemen yet

Just been announced:
http://www.makita.biz/product/category/ope/eb7650th_eb7650wh/index.html#1
75.6 mL 4-Stroke.
No more oil mixing, easy starting, lower noise and low fuel consumption.
Seems to have veeeery low Vibration compared to other 2 stroke models frequently used

You might have to wait longer in the USa but you get the tools cheaper =D

The nespresso really is a good idea
-
Hahaha well they do give you a free 3 amp battery on a very large selection of bare tools at the moment zo thats covered alsof
-
Indeed it does.
Another thing i'm pretty sure of: Power tools are ALOT more expensive in the market here. The power Tool market in europe offers the brands more margin and thus profits on their tools.
If i compare the price of powertools in USA compared to what we charge our customers here in belgium .....
I think european market provides more profit
