HD is running more than decent special deal on the Ryobi One+ 3-speed 1/2" impact wrench.
That's $119 for the tool, charger and a 4.0 AH battery. I think this usually runs $179 and it's the new model that has 300 ft/lbs of torque.

Awesome! Welcome to the Jawhorse club. How does it feel not having your work piece wobble around under you?

the 6.0 and 9.0 batteries were supposed to be out in stores January 2016 from what i have read and the video's ....wtf is going on?
The 9.0s were intended to support the new SDS Max rotary hammer. The hammer hasn't made it out of the gates so that's why I'm guessing that the 9.0s are still awol.

It's always a letdown when I see something I want on clearance but then see that the big clearance is only 5% off.

Bah - marginally cheaper than buying it here, but nowhere near the ZOMG MUST BUY price before shipping.

I have one of these. It came from a kit I bought coming from the UK. The way the boxes lock together is a little of a pain to use and the fact that there isn't a top handle is a big downfall. The plastic is also pretty flimsy. Thinner than systainers.
Great video. I see what you mean about the plastic being flimsy. That's disappointing.

I'd love to see a fuel barrel grip jigsaw headed our way. An update to the OMT also wouldn't be the worst idea, though I'm not sure if Milwaukee will do that given the whole star lock development.

The compact brushless and fan aren't exactly old inventory, but definitely trying to clear out inventory that isn't moving since this is across so many stores. I think the fan was a pretty big flop with the high price and AC adapter instead of a plug for an extension cord.
Not just that, but the Ridgid fan kicks it's ass on specs and the Ryobi fan has the awesome extension cord plug and super cool 2x4 hanger base. The folks in Milwaukee design need to take a field trip to see where their fellow TTI designers work to pick up some better ideas.

Milwaukee had problems with the clamps on the M18 stand light. They fixed it with a redesigned clamp fairly quickly. Hopefully they do the same with these guns.
Although if you're expecting a cordless tool to be lighter than a pneumatic one, that will never happen.
The clamp on my stand light broke within a month of getting it and really only having used it once. I've got the shipping label printed out to send it back, but I can't for the life of me find a box big enough to pack it up. I'm going to have to make a franken box out of smaller boxes so I can send it back.

I just hope that you'll be able to get these separately, like lboxxes.

I would be so broke if our Home Depot had that kind of inventory.

What kruton said.
The fact that I'm flying home is the only thing that kept me safe. Next time I drive up, however, I make no guarantees.

I'm in Philadelphia visiting family and I had the opportunity to check out the a big city Home Depot. When I came to the Milwaukee aisle, I felt like the country mouse come to the big city. It was red heaven. I snapped a couple of pics for those, like me, whose local depots never get the full range of goodies. Some highlights include the framing and roofing nailers, all of the lights, the big boys of the rotary hammer world and the 9" grinder! I was disappointed that they didn't have the new fuel nailers but I'm sure they'll have them out soon.

I picked up a 9003 from Lowes for $99 back in November. I love it but I can't really see being able to hold a full 48" being worth double the price for me.
-
Hmmm. I might have to head over to the local everything Milwaukee pro shop to see if they've got them to play with.
-
The title says it all. There's supposed to be limited stock at a store 80m away from me, but someone else on the crew might be luckier.

I had to bump up my Amazon cart to get free same day delivery for a present my daughter was taking to a birthday party, so I got a present too!
Interesting note: this wrench says "made in Spain." Who does channel lock OEM their wrenches from, Irega?

It was released in 2010, so you might have a good chance of it being under warrant if it's not a super early model. Still worth a call to Milwaukee - just leave out the Craigslist part and see what they say.
-
That's a brand new model. I can't wait until next spring when it comes out (because that's when I imagine it'll hit the shelves based in last years summer announcements, some of which still aren't even available yet). I really hope that I'm wrong.

Powder actuated guns are also really what you want to use when your attaching vapor barrier to block in crawl spaces. Tapcons would take way too long and you don't really have to worry about moving the plastic liner as its glued down with adhesive anyway.
-
I'm all for helping out a member of the crew, but the DCBL720B is only $99 with free shipping on Amazon, so you might have to come down a bit or sell locally.

must resist buying M18 jigsaw from amazon.uk.....

Is the wobble intentional to keep all of the vibrations from transferring into the battery pack? I'll have to check all of my M18s to see how tight they are.
-
I technically don't need a lot of stuff but I still buy it!
Haha, I guess I'm really trying to stick to "technically don't need AND don't already have one of" as my mantra. All the shiny red things I've gotten from Woodpeckers aren't duplicated, so they qualify even thought I don't NEED them (does anyone actually need a $300 set of squares?). The blower... Well I actually have convinced myself that I DO need a Stihl BR600, so there you have it.

I'm already playing in the lime green end of the pool, so I went with the Ryobi. I need another battery platform like I need a hole in the head.
