Nice work Comp, how did you hook it up to start the vac when you pulled the trigger and how does the vac remain on for 7seconds after you release the trigger?
I'm glad this storm happened on a weekend. If it was during the week, I would have gotten stuck for a couple of days for sure with work. Then would have to wait for the Long Island Railroad to get back on schedule. I'm glad I have good neighbors that shovel my family out when I'm stuck at work for the overnights...
We got about 28" on my part of Long Island, I got a Craftsman 24" snow blower as a house warming gift from my family a couple of years ago and it's one of the best tools I own. I have a 100X100' property now and I dont think I could live without it. Me and a couple of neighbors were hitting hard this morning and got everyone plowed out in no time. Even had time for some nice Snow Beers.... That Snow Joe looks like an awesome machine... If I didn't have a gas powered machine I would definitly pick up one of those.
I almost wish tool manufacturers would give you the option when you buy a power tool from them, do you want the case or not? I remember The Hilti cases would cost close to 100 dollars. And in my option those cases are the worst. Give me the tool missus the case and I save a few bucks...
I'm guilty as well Kruton, I label my car batteries on date of install, smoke/CO detectors, and I used to label/ date code the fan coil unit blower motors we would replace in one of our buildings.
