  1. @DR99 I was with you on the lineup, until @dwain set me straight with some Bosch info that I was not aware of. They have more cordless tool than you think...
  2. Yikes... this thing looks like a total hawg. Saw the Canadian fellas using it on IG... major power. I can't wait to hear what people have to say on here... once it is used actually on the site or in the shop. FB82
  3. @verktool Keep us posted on how you like it! Sweet buy!
  4. I agree with the comment above from @DR99. I think the lights are going to be a game changer for them.
  5. @D.Roche First, welcome to the forum! Glad to have you on here. Second, I have heard similar things about the DeWALT guns... honestly, I wouldn't have a problem getting the yellow tools, but I just don't have much in their 20V stuff at this point.. so the difference between buying a kit for DeWALT and a bare tool for Milwaukee is swaying me at the moment.

Don't hold me to this... but I thought the rep said that it will charge batteries too? I could be off and be talking about another light... but I am pretty sure he was talking about this.
  7. @Biggie yeah, I noticed the same thing. It looks awesome... but not sure what I would ever get into that would need that much power. lol
  8. Sweet gang boxes... I didn't see a price tho? I question if they would be similar to Knaack and Jobox?
  9. I think this is the first m12 1/2" ratchet that they have came out with? I am more inclined to probably buy the 3/8", personally.
  10. Kinda cool... the Milwaukee rep sent me an email with some of the pricing for Milwaukee's new tools. Also, some of the specs for their new M12 ratchets, which I had not heard until now. Check out the photo below!
  11. Agree with the posts from above... I guess I have also never really had a complaint with a basic sidewinder saw not having enough power. Also, I am pretty sure that in the beginning of a circular saw they were not designing them specifically for left or right handed people... the blade was just on the right? (I don't know that for sure, but a senior carpenter told me that). Lastly, does anyone have a spec on this in terms of weight?
  12. @BLRWI woah! Good purchases!!! COngrats!!!!!
  13. @BMack37 I hear you there! I love that drill, so powerful for it's size! Also, I think the second generation is supposed to be even more powerful!
  14. @SetBuilder I actually like the M12 one better. It's not brushless, but not nearly as awkward as the M18 in my opinion.
  15. I saw this video on IG too. I am with @KnarlyCarl on this. While I don't think it is the biggest of deals, I do think that other saws don't have this issue, so that could be a negative to buying Makita. I have the 1016, which for me does not have this issue, however.
  16. @BMack37 100% agree. I have the M12 fuel version and love it. That thing has impressive power and is still pretty handy. I guess the one benefit to the brushed version is that it is quite a bit smaller, which is nice for the tight spaces. FB82
  17. Welcome to the forum! @kiwi_in_oz
  18. We have used ours quite a bit during the glulam erection process. The knife plate is not always going to fit in with the existing beam... so there have been times where we have to slot the holes in the glulam. DeWALT stud drill works like a charm.
  19. I think it should get put into action within the next week or so. I will be very curious on the performance and runtime.
  20. @verktool I am with you on the rachets. I have been holding out on some cheaper brushed ones until the brushless ones come out.
  21. So this got dropped off by the Milwaukee rep... I guess I have not done too much research on it. Does anyone have any info (good or bad) on it? Thanks, FB82
  22. @fm2176 I hear you there. I am going to invest in one for sure. My garage gets miserably cold... so I think it would be worth the investment.
  23. So yesterday it ran the 12" miter saw (I prefer the 10") while they were cutting base. So far so good, plus there were not cords running all over too. I guess the main thing that I like is that it isn't loud... so compared to the generator that would be something that is a big plus for me. Also, as someone mentioned above.. it is a charger too, so not the worst investment ever.
