  1. Looks like it was a good time, but $16 bucks is ridiculous to get a buzz going lol. I've learned to take some Jack Daniels with me in a flask to concerts. Then I tell them I'm the designated driver and sodas are free all night. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk

  7. I'm not a car nut, I'm boring and practical when it comes to transportation, but I've always had a thing for 69' Mustangs. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  8. You just need a stand? Have you considered making your own? I usually slap router tables together with plywood. For me, it's much cheaper and I get the same use out of it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  9. Congrats, your now following Tools In Action on Periscope. Now, whenever TIA goes live, you will get a notification on your phone and you can tune in. Make sure that the bell icon has a white background like this If it looks like this, you will not be getting notifications Hope this helps anyone out. Please leave a comment/question/suggestion. Thanks crew!
  10. Your now signed in. Let’s search for Tools In Action. In the upper portion, hit the THREE HEAD symbol. Next, tap on the MAGNIFYING GLASS icon on the bottom right This will bring up the SEARCH BAR Type “TOOLSINACTION” in the search bar and tap on TIA Hit FOLLOW
  11. By now, you must have caught wind of Periscope If you’ve been watching any TIA episodes lately, you would have noticed Dan & Eric making shoutouts to what looks like an “Off-Screen” live audience. These are actually crew members, like yourself, that are watching a live broadcast hosted by Dan (Mostly, if not, exclusively) over smartphones/tablets/computers all over the world. This collective group is often called the “Periscopers”. But what is it? Periscope is an app for iOS and Android devices. It is a live video streaming platform that allows users to stream video content from your smartphone. People can tune in to your video stream whenever you go live. Likewise, whenever someone that you follow goes live, an alert pops up on your smartphone device, letting you know the person is streaming a live video. Why should I even care? Because it’s cool, lol. It’s the closest thing to teleportation that we have today. If you’ve ever wanted to see the rest of Dan or Eric’s garage, Periscope allows this to happen. Not only this, but you get a behind the scenes look into TIA in general. You get to see how real Dan and Eric actually are. I must say that what you see is what you get with these guys. They don’t put on a fake persona and most videos that upload to YouTube have been done in one cut. Periscope is also another way to be involved with the crew. Watching the live streams is great, but just as fun is chatting with the other crew members that are watching. By chatting live with the crew, you develop a sense that these are real people behind the avatars and usernames. ProToolNut, you will learn, say’s some pretty crazy shit, hahaha. Logan is always there to greet you and often kills it with the hearts, which brings me to my next point. It supports TIA. By using Periscope, it exposes TIA to a new audience and new people. While you watch a live stream, you may notice some hearts popping up on the side of the screen. The more hearts that a Periscope streamer gets, the higher up the ranks the stream becomes, exposing TIA to a wider audience. This is great as we get to meet new people that share the same passion for tools as we do, and hopefully we will get more girls on board as it’s pretty much a sausage fest in here, lol. Okay, I’m in. What’s next? First, download the Periscope app on your smartphone. Open up the app and hit SKIP You can sign-in using TWITTER or your PHONE# This screen will appear if using a phone number. Enter your PHONE# and you will be sent a CONFIRMATION CODE via text message. I did’nt do this so I don’t know what happens next. This screen will appear if using Twitter. Just hit ALLOW
  12. Cool stuff Nate! Did you get your stickers yet?
  13. I only have the cheap kreg pocket jig and it's pretty cool to use. Only problem with the small one is that it becomes a pain if you have to drill a bunch of holes. I like both the K4 and the K5, but If I'm not mistaken, I believe the K5 has a better clamping mechanism. I think it adjusts to whatever thickness of material that you are working with. With the K4, I think you have to screw the foot in or out to accommodate the material you are working with. Don't quote me on this, I'm sure other's are more knowledgeable than me since I don't have either the K4 or the K5.
  14. The cats finally out of the bag. We've all been speculating for months about what the hell ONE-KEY™ could be, and now we have the details. I highly suggest that you watch the latest Tool Talk Episode or read the article on the subject at Toolsinaction.com. Basically, it boils down to three core features: Inventory Management, Tool Reporting and Tool Control. These features will be released over a span of time, beginning this September with Inventory Management. Tool Reporting to follow in October and Tool Control in January 2016 alongside the release of the new M18 Fuel tools that will sync with ONE-KEY™. Inventory Management: Will be available via the Web and iOS/Android devices. This will allow the you to keep detailed information about all your tools. My guess is Make, Model, Serial Numbers, stuff like that. If you’ve ever registered your Milwaukee tools through the Heavy Duty Club page, you will know what I mean. You can keep records of other tools not manufactured by Milwaukee as well. You will also be able to keep tabs on the location and the user of your tools. For instance, let’s say I give C Harris my Milwaukee M18 2604 Hammer Drill/Driver. I can open up the ONE-KEY™ app, assign that tool to C Harris and hold him accountable for anything that happens to it. Why this needs to be done in an app is beyond me, but it might be beneficial for large companies. Tool Reporting: Will be added in October with the release of the new M18 Force Logic Utility Crimpers. Tool Reporting will allow the user to upload information about the tool being used. In the case of the M18 Force Logic Utility Crimpers, the user can upload how many hits/misses he has had with the tool as well as how many times the tool had been used or serviced. This all sounds a little too micro manage-y to me. Tool Control: This is probably what most people are going to be excited about. With Tool Control, you will be able to customize tool settings. Max Speed (RPM), Torque, Trigger Ramp Up can all be changed and assigned as a setting or profile. Different fasteners require a different speeds and torques depending on the application. You could have a setting, on the same drill, that could be used for self tapping screws with a slow start and ramps up the speed to drive it home. Then change to a specific torque setting to drive in some bolts without over torquing them. All this can be done on the same drill, with no feathering of the trigger, just pull and go. The applications for this sound pretty interesting to me, although it’s still a bit much. I’m so used to my way’s but I’m always willing to learn new things to do a better job. How would the crew use Milwaukee ONE-KEY™? I’m curious to hear any clever ways of using this technology, especially the Tool Control part. For example, it might be cool to have different settings for drilling into different materials. Say a slower RPM for Metal and a higher speed for Wood.
  15. Wow that's a steal Yikkit! Congrats! I've got the non-brushed M12 hackzall, it's okay. I really want to get the one that you got though, I hear the Fuel version is much better.
  16. This one is for Dan. I thought with all the video gaming on Periscope that you might enjoy this. I suggest watching the entire clip. It's a long one, I know, but he had me rolling about 5 minutes in. Hope you guys get a laugh, especially you Dan. 17. I'm gonna try and figure this out to follow you rees, thanks for doing this btw Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  18. Nice stuff Tyler! I'm so glad that you have a career path in mind at a young age. Your on the right track and you've already done some cool work that I'd be proud of. I've done some residential electrical work, basic stuff, and really enjoyed it. I turned in my application to my local ibew, just waiting to hear back from them. I really want to become an apprentice and learn hands on from the pro's. Wish I had done this a long time ago though lol. Take care man Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah when those drills lit up, it was like the Milky-Way galaxy in the night sky...but it was even better, it was the Milwaukee-Way galaxy in a dark garageSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  20. Hell yeah, people are on their phones way too much nowadays. Every time I go out to eat people are taking pictures of their food, or taking selfies, or just not paying attention to anything that's happening in real life.Seems like smartphones have become the cranberries of technology. They get into everything, even tools. I don't see myself using this One Key stuff and I think it was over hyped Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  21. Thats a funny story. I bet that cop must have been really embarrassed. I've pulled out a couple cars and trucks from the sand here. I'm amazed that people think they can just drive on sand with a 2 wheel drive vehicle. The sand here is soft and deep. Once a guy got stuck with a 4x4 Chevy, tires buried in the sand. I pulled him out, checked his tires, and he didn't lock the hubs lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  22. Correia really messed up. Should have never brought up suicide knowing that Rhonda's father had passed away in that matter. Good googly moogaly shit is gonna hit the fan this Saturday. Wish I lived on your block to watch the fight lolSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  23. Anyone gonna watch the fight this weekend between Rousey and Correia?

Man, now that's what I call smokin! Cool stuff Moxy! My Uncle has a catering side business and one thing he is very proud of is his collection of Apron's. For him, it's like a baseball card collection of all the partys and events that he's catered for.
  25. i've never heard of LDF. I don't know why lol. it seems only logical that it would exist since everyone has heard of MDF and HDF.
