I was looking on www.homedepot.ca and saw this http://www.homedepot.ca/product/20v-max-7-1-4-cordless-sliding-compound-miter-saw-kit/410279?intid=L2_HS_150709_TOO-POW_Dewalt-mitre-saw-en for $498 CAD, I could not find anything on www.homedepot.com maybe its out in canada first.

I don't need a dado blade. I really only need a saw for my small workshop and a jobsite/portable table saw fits the bill very well. here in canada I can get a 7480 for $250-$300 on sale and the ridgid r4512 goes for $450 on sale thats a lot more for me.

Thanks everyone. The kobalt does have good reviews there's just some little things that I don't likes about it, so I'm going to save up a little more and get a dwe7480.

I'm looking at the kobalt table saw its on sale for $200 in canada. has anyone used this/own it? it will be my first table saw does it cut well, straight, smooth? thanks.
