Right On! That pretty cool of you to take the time to make these for a good cause. What are you using to make the cuts? I have a book on 3D patterns for the Scroll Saw, and there is a Reindeer pattern in there, I was think of make a few.

Um, Whats a Tradies?

Right On! Sweet looking project. Looking forward to the day when the 2 boys rooms become vacant, one for my model railroad, and one for my game/tavern room.

I agree, there newer tv's are pretty light, and don't really require a heavy duty mount, unless you want one that you can adjust the angle.

The maths...they are hard... I am sure I will add more later LOL
-
Yup, I will absolutely be getting this! I noticed this will also work with other brands, not just DeWalt.

looks like you can get a very good selection of different woods there, however I am lucky to have a local shop that carries some big stuff of the same flavors. price is up and down depending on the markets so I frequent the place quite often to check prices. They are good to as they will cut off pieces for me in the size I want. I did some purpleheart reindeer last season that was a real hit....
Right On! I have an awesome supplier about an hour away, unfortunately they only sell large pieces most of the time. It's a crap shoot if they have any smaller pieces, and I think they are held for their frequent customers. I mostly build small scale stuff that requires exotic woods.

Would love if DeWalt came out with 23 Gauge pin nailer/stapler on their battery system, heck even a 23 gauge pneumatic version would be nice.
There are a few other ideas rolling around in my head, just not sure how to explain it in words. LOL

Eric, there is this thing call the Internet, it's a place where you can order things, that you can't find close to you... J/K LOL (In a really happy mood has always)
But seriously, this is the main supplier I use. I also search that Auction site, sometimes I find some really good deals that include free shipping. I ordering some Purpleheart for a project I am working on for me lady's Christmas present.

Very cool wig wag I'm gonna definitely check out ur channel man, can't wait to c the clown when it's finished.
I added a link to my channel below. Like I stated above, I am in the process of a channel "Reboot". I will be adding a wider variety of projects, besides just my modeling stuff. I have a lot of different hobbies that I will be posting videos of, and hopefully some "How-To's" even.

Clicked to find out what a clown drop is... then I googled it, still have no idea what it is.
It's just an old fashion child's toy, below is the video that gave me the idea. I was searching for some toy ideas, while my Grandson was in the hobby room with me ( He watches Umizoomi on my iPad) and when the video came on, he lite up with a huge smile and eyes wide open.

Looks great!!! What type, brand, of paint brush are you using to paint with??
Nothing special, the paint is just .49 craft acrylic with a few drops of Liquitex leveling agent, then a few coats of Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic to seal it. The brushes are contemporary craft. Since these are just kids toys, I personally think it looks good enough. However, for my other small woodworking projects the require a colorful painted finish, I use my Airbrush to apply the paint in several thin coats.

WOW! Nice finish, looks aces - how many coats did it take?

awesome job dude, I know how time consuming that can be...have you ever thought about a pantograph?
I don't mind the time it takes, I just enjoy being in the workshop and especially the sanding process, has it's very therapeutic. I sort of get in a "zone", when sanding by hand and its's one thing in my workshop that won't cause serious injury when i'm not 100% focused (I am always 110% focused when using any power tools). I will have to look into a pantograph, could be a useful tool for the workshop.

That's awesome Wigwag. My grandpa used to make all kinds of toys for us in his woodshop. It was pretty cool really, now that he is gone I still have most if not all of the things he made me.

That's cool that you still have stuff your Grandpa made. Aiden really enjoys playing with everything I have made for him so far, can't wait till he gets a little older, and can come into the shop.

That is the kind of cool stuff that is missing today. Heart and soul, meaningful stuff they will have for a long time. Looks great!

I did a lot of the same things when the boys were young, and Brandon (the one that was in the hospital) enjoys making walking sticks, and wood burning now - he's 17. I also made some cars and trucks for my Grandson, and he plays with them more then those fancy plastic ones with all the light and loud noises.
-
Nice, what kind of scroll saw do you have?
The DeWalt DW788 of course LOL... It's the best model out there for the price, since the next step up is a $1000+ dollars. Delta makes a similar one in the same price range, and shares many of the same parts has the DeWalt DW788, but I been reading a lot of negative reviews on the Delta model.

Good Day Crew!
Made this Steve Good Pattern for my Grandson, we painted it in his favorite colors. Please note that this is made by hand, on my Scroll Saw. I have 4 more projects lined up for my Grandson, including some cool toys.

Yeah Um.... This is absolutely fake.. There would be a ton more blood, and missing teeth. Nice Halloween costume though

That's Sweet! Nice choice of woods, looking forward to seeing how the stain will look. I have a book somewhere on making wooden instruments, Steve Ramsey has a video on making a finger piano, a tongue drum and some other wooden instruments. Will you be doing a video on how it sounds?
