  1. That is hilarious. Partly because I have used that option. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  2. It was actually more of a joke, but it would be funny to here some stories. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah my problem is that as much as I research some of the things I buy I am still very bad about impulse buys. I guess I have run out of excuses when she asks me why I bought another set of impact driver bits! I am a sucker for a good set of bits. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  4. I feel like we need a new sub forum dedicated strictly to listing all of the excuses we can use to convince our wives why we need to buy new tools. I was going to suggest just a thread but wasn't sure that would have enough room to hold everything! Maybe we can also add in clever ways to disguise new equipment purchases. The list could go on and on... Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Thanks for the info man. If I can get my accountant at home to let me cut loose of the cash I will probably try to get one ordered. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  6. I was surprised to find out how many companies are like this. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Do they take care of converting the currency rates when you order? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  8. I think this could be a very expensive 12 step program!Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  9. I wonder if it comes with a cup holder attachment? Then I could drink beer while I mow, blow snow and powerwash! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  10. I just bought a new Echo PB580 for cleanup after mowing and as a backup if the big blower goes down in the fall. Great little blower with a ton of power and relatively well priced at about 300. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  11. How many tooth blade should you use to avoid splintering when you are ripping a JMC? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  12. For DIY work you can't go wrong with any of the brands mentioned. I was like you about the different battery platforms. I have both 12v and 18v systems but have been switching everything over to all Bosch just so everything is the same. I have had Milwaukee, Dewalt and Makita but just decided to go with Bosch because I thought I would try them out to see what I think. So far I'm pretty satisfied...until something new and better comes out! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  13. They were in Indianapolis on the 26th and I just found this thread today. I'm kinda bummed man I would have liked to have checked this out, especially since I seem to slowly be replacing all my tools with Bosch. Oh well, I guess this is just a sign I need to stay more active on here so I don't miss out on things like this. Thanks for the posts. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

That's a really good deal for just the saw itself let alone a stand. That may have just made my decision! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  15. How is your reception with the power box? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

I was told to go as big as I could afford with backpack blowers and that has seemed to work out well for me. Just wasn't sure if it was the same with miter saws. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  17. Does anyone have any experience with the Bosch 12v radio? I seem to be on the fringe of any good radio station coverage areas and was curious if anyone in my situation has checked the reception.
  18. Thanks for the welcomes. This really is a great thing to have here. Hopefully I can help other people learn from some of the mistakes I have made along the way...and trust me I have made a lot!
  19. What's happening fellow tool junkies. Where were forums like this when I got out of college and was just starting to piece together my tool collection!

I'm in the market for a first miter saw. I'm just afraid this is more saw than I would ever need, but I keep coming back to this saw. Is a guy better off buying the best saw he can afford or getting something entry level and upgrade down the road? Just curious if anyone has any thoughts.
