  1. Ridgid 12-Volt 4.0 Ah Hyper Lithium-Ion Battery (2-Pack) Was $69.00 $34.50 /each http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-12-Volt-4-0-Ah-Hyper-Lithium-Ion-Battery-2-Pack-AC820592/205358343 These have been dropping for a while, but if you have any Ridgid 12v tools, this is a steal. If you don't have ridgid 12v tools, their impact driver is great. When they were still in store, they got to like $17 before they disappeared, but I doubt they will go that low online. I'd buy another set, but I bought them when they were $43 and already have 4 of the 2 Ah batteries that came with the drill and driver.

  3. Milwaukee Bosch and Ridgid are all good to go. I haven't gone to use any of those three and found them to be lacking in any way. Bosch is the most compact and has the three lights around the front if that matters. The Milwaukee has a great impact and the advantage is that if you have the m18 you can use one charger for both batteries if you have the multi charger.
  4. The Home Depots in my area have Bosch laser levels and such but the cordless drills, drivers, etc have been phased out.
  5. Hitachi Porter Cable dewalt Bosch B&D Vs Milwaukee Dewalt Ridgid Makita Advantage Home Depot
  6. That seems hard to believe. But anything is possible...
  7. The holy-cow deals are hard to find for casual shoppers. There are people out there that turn a good profit running down deeply discounted items and selling them online or craigslist. There have been situations where people have carts full of penny deals which to me suggests there is either a shady customer hiding product in the store until the price drops or a coordinated effort between an employee and the customer. Either way, it isn't easy. Good luck.
  8. In store they have a special buy. There are two pieces, one full size and one half size organizer for $24.99
  9. I think the comparison being suggested is the m12 fuel vs the m18 (non-Fuel). It has to be pretty close. The downside is the advantage of m12 lineup is the size and the m12 fuel drill with an XC battery isn't much of a weight savings over an m18 non-fuel drill.
  10. Here is what I do: I get my receipt emailed to me. I file it in my email folder titled receipts. It is then searchable. I have access via my phone so I can give them the receipt number to look up and they can't mark anything out. If the receipt line is something that doesn't look like something I would use to describe the tool (i.e. M12 Fl Hckzl) I forward the receipt to myself with a note of what the tool is (Milwaukee M12 Fuel Hackzall). Then file it in my receipts folder. If the place doesn't email receipts, I snap a photo of the receipt then send it to my email account. For serial numbers I take a photo of all serial numbers (which usually have the model number nearby) and file it in a folder for serial numbers in my photo album.
  11. The impact wrench is on my list. I don't need it at the moment, but I do want one.
  12. I just came here to post this exact video. Great ideas. Great production.

    12v lineup

I have the multi tool (pretty good) and the ratchet (haven't used seriously yet) and the hammer drill. The fuel hammer drill loses the compactness of the impact driver. It's about the same size as a compact m18 drill. I haven't used the hammer function yet but as a drill it works well. I do like the expanded lineup of Milwaukee as I own a couple other tools (sawzall, screwdriver and rotary tool). I also have the Bosch 12v impact, drill and screwdriver. The impact is great and the most compact tool I have with great lights. I like the Bosch as well as I like the m12 line. You wouldn't go wrong with either.
  14. The base of the Milwaukee cart just dropped from $399 to $379 in a store near me. If it follows a similar pattern as the chest it could be $299 or lower in a couple weeks.
  15. Now is a tough time. The really good time was March to May when all the "special deal" packaged stuff from the holidays started getting cleared out in favor or routinely stocked sets. All the stuff with bigger batteries or extra tools went through a clearance phase and now they are all gone. There will be something similar when new lineups are introduced and just before holiday specials show up again.
  16. The Father's Day deal was an impact and screwdriver in my area. The drill and impactor with third battery were $129 down from $179. That's when I bought my set. I don't remember seeing them with the third battery for $99 during the holidays.
  17. At some value it'll be worth it for the head and attachments and then go buy another job max kit with a 12v base.
  18. it would cost you a small fortune to live there.
  19. Glad I could help. I've been looking for that exact impact driver around me. No luck.
  20. I think it's just me and a couple others on here. The ridgid storage is a new release which is why there is a lot. They had a special for Memorial Day where if you bought the big and mid size storage you got the small storage free.
  21. Dishwasher Rack Tip Tine Covers It took me a few minutes to search on amazon, but they have them in a few colors.
  22. And if anyone doesn't have an m12 impact driver, they are giving a free m12 angle drill with the purchase of the m12 impact kit (two batteries and charger included). So that is the impact driver, angle drill, two batteries and a charger for $129 Milwaukee Model # 2462-22-2415-20 Internet # 205381355 M12 12-Volt Lithium-Ion 1/4 in. 23. So the set I mentioned earlier (2697-22) Impact Driver, Hammer drill + 2 3 aH batteries is still $229 in store, but is now on home depots website including a third 3 aH battery for free. The online price is $249. The free battery is online only.
