    Hot today

Today it didn't quite hit the 110 degrees the weather speculators were forecasting but never the less 107 with 13% humidity ain't fun to be out in.....
  4. Nice....she's done it now, you better step up to the plate and get her something nice

    Hot today

No storms for us, humidity hanging around 20%.....hot and dry like the desert. Funny thing, I'm re-doing all the doors in the house and a few were sticking, not any more LOL!!

    Hot today

Anyone else getting some hot weather.....were hitting record temps this week for the year, 108 right now and tomorrow thru friday were suposed to hit 109-110 degrees.
  7. That's really cool....I like it.
  8. I think if Ryobi were to include some sort of maintance sheet stating to clean and oil after each use I bet the negative comments would be next to none.....and to me its no big deal as it takes only a minute.
  9. Looks great.....nice truck too.
  10. Had a chance to spend time with the Ryobi 18 gauge nailer.....shot a bunch of 1' and 2' nails, absolutly no issues what so ever. Sunk every nail with out needing to punch them as long as you were fairlly square to the material, my Hitachi air nailer does a slightly better job when not shooting as square to the material. The Ryobi is a bit heavier and larger than my air nailer, took a few hours to get use to. In regards to mis-fires or jambs, never experienced any, shot perfect every time.....It was pretty clean after several hundred nails but cleaned and re-oiled anyway for good measure. All in all the Ryobi is great and wouldn't hesitate buying one again.
  11. Welcome to the forum locksmithmatt.....What a nice clean set you have there, very organized and all those Dewalt boxes look cool

    Flashlight

Nice.....They are really well built torches
  13. Unfortunately I don't have a shop, its a 8'x16' shed where I store my tools.....so having all my tools laid out is not going to happen, and if I did have a shop I still would have all my cordless tools in some sort of storage case or bag and put away. I sort of look at my tool shed as a big tool box, ha ha....
  14. Just wondering what everyone is storing there cordless tools in......at one time I had some in the plastic carrying cases, some in the nylon bags and some in drawers of my tool box but that just took up way too much room.....so recently I decided to re-organize and put all the cordless in Nylon bags. All the small nylon one's hanging up are labeled on the outside to make it easier to find the tool I'm looking for, the medium and large one;s still need to be labeled, and they have multiple tools in them to save room. My wife says I'm OCD and I think I agree with her LOL!
  15. Welcome Corkster52......believe it about spending way too much money on tools LOL!
  16. Looking good.....I wish I had the room to build something like that.

    A new shed

Regarding the 24" OC.....I was thinking the same thing, 16's would have been nice but now having the shed a few years the 24's OC don't bother me and I just added a few 2 by 4's to beef it up. Regarding the vents HD has lot's to choose from and really they are nessasary IMO but I know Dad's can be stubborn LOL! anyways have fun with all the shelving and such, you be surprised how much you can fit into one of these things with a little creativity, ha, ha.

    A new shed

Those are great sheds......I have one that looks identical, its made by a company called Tuff Shed in my area, I went with a 8'x16' and its my tool storage unfortunately I have already out grown it and thinking of getting another one. With mine they actually built it on site and painted it. One thing to consider if they didn't do is to install a couple of vents, one at each end for cross ventlation, really helps with moister, etc.....
  19. Yes.....Ryobi has really stepped up thier game recently.
  20. I think Home Depot offers free shipping if you buy on-line......
  21. I personally haven't owned their power tools but have friends that have and a fair amount were short lived.....I know $140 sounds like a deal one can't pass up but IMO the durability just isn't there. If I were in your shoes I'd save just a few bucks more and look at the Ryobi tools, they really are well built and fairly priced. You can get a Ryobi 10 inch compound miter saw for about $179.....anyway as they say YMMV
  22. Hopefully it doesn't turn into this....
