  1. Over molding on the grip will breakdown. It depends on the chemical it’s exposed to, some are much worse. It has a funny smell to it, like barf. Some housings can react with other cleaners, solvents etc. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. This. Backwards blade is loud and doesn’t cut as well as a proper metal saw. There are tons of ways to hack something, but in the end, it always better to use the right tool for the job! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. I have always said Makita must be making some of Hitachi’s tools. I looked at what Hitachi has out now and there is no way that Makita isn’t making some of it! Look at the Hitachi stick vac, Fan jackets, impacts, drills, heated jacket and rotary hammer! They are carbon copies! Also, they have the same 18v/14.4v versions as Makita. Not all tools mind you, but a lot. http://www.hitachi-koki.com/powertools/products/li_ion/li_ion.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. You made a late 90s rear projection TV! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I actually like CLC/Kunys/Dewalt. My only issue with them was the lack of hard bottoms and the material would wear quickly. I haven’t looked very hard at them in awhile though. Also, AWS at Lowe’s, those are some decent, well priced bag too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Slow the hell down!!! That sounds an awful lot like work! I actually thought about adding a rivet to the exterior pocket but I don’t know where to get a proper heavy duty fabric type. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. 15” Packout tool bag! Didn’t even know they made one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. We have also had this one for awhile too. https://www.makita.ca/index2.php?event=tool&id=1902&catid=2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Just following up my 10” tote review. I was very disappointed with the 10” overall. I took a chance and bought the 15” and I am very happy with it. Why couldn’t they design the 10” the same way??? The 15” has nice deep pockets and a great layout. One side is full of very usable pockets and the other side is wide open for power tools or whatever else you need to put in there. My only complaint is the return of the useless wedge pockets that are designed for things to fall out of. Not even kidding. The zippered pockets are a little better too, you can actually get stuff in them! 150% better than the 10”, hands down. Hopefully they relaunch the 10” and fix it, it’s really a perfect size. 16. Mini review time! Bought this bag today, I am impressed. It’s a little expensive for a simple tool bag, but I really like the design. It has 2 big pockets. That’s it. It has a ton of clip loops and that’s it. No extras. It comes with a shoulder strap which even the 10” tote doesn’t come with. It has two nice top handles and two very nice side handles. It’s tall and the mouth opens like a bag should, allowing you to see the entire inside! Short version, buy it! $69 CAD btw! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Pretend I am a 3 year old. I have the current brushless variable speed and I love it. I don't understand the hate towards the load sense feature. Why is a barrel grip so important? (be kind, i am an electrician, not a carpenter!) Sent from my Chromebook 14 for work (CP5-471) using Tapatalk
  18. Good stuff! Other then Veto, I haven’t found manufacturers that take the time to think out pocket placement and shape. Seems like a lazy design. I would prefer the pen/bit pockets over those wedge pockets! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That was the ranger turbo diesel option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Pliers?

Which ones are you talking about? The red handled Klein are softer and dull quickly when cutting anything harder than copper. The J series (blue handle) are hardened and keep a much better edge but are brittle and are prone to chipping. The equivalent Knipex are virtually identical. I prefer the hardened Knipex over my Klein’s for weight and balance, but I keep putting the Klein’s back into my pouch because they are a much better hammer... The Knipex comfort grips are also slightly better than the J series comfort grip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. I just picked up the 15” tote. It’s night and day different. Hard to believe it is made by the same company. The pockets are normal, the handle is normal. The only real gripe I have is the two exterior wedge pockets are on the 15” as well. Same odd angle that makes it hard to really use them. Stuff just wants to fall out. 23. Who said it was? No claim was made to that effect. It was a review. An old review. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  24. The little Ford turbo diesels are pretty awesome. I was also hoping they would come to NA with the ranger. I was so worried they were going to screw up the ranger! I love the eco boost, but there is a place for a diesel. “The 2.2L TDCi Duratorq generates an impressive 160 PS and 385 Nm of torque. Available in 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions (Selected models only). Need even more power? Then take the 3.2L TDCi Duratorq diesel option, with 200PS and 470 Nm of torque at your command. Impressive fuel economy and low emissions are delivered from 43.5 mpg (6.5L/100m) and 171 g/km CO2 emissions (160PS 4x4 with 6-speed manual and 3.15 FDR).” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I didn't say it was a copy, it sure as hell looks like Makita made it though! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
