  1. Man I always disliked the tips on Klein but never knew what else was out there or how bad they were in comparison. I'll have to try these out
  2. I'd love to get this one key impact just for the reason that all day long my pinky finger constantly hits the button and changes what speed it's in, so I'd get this and set all 4 modes to the same high speed!
  3. Finally a fuel hackzall! I'm liking the m12 stapler as well
  4. That actually happened to my co worker with a dewalt drill, drilling some holes with an auger and the head snapped off like that
  5. I'm pretty sure the surge does the same thing and just stops, its overload protection
  6. Strange I found the 997 on dewalts website yesterday and today I can't find it anywhere on there
  7. I hope not, gen 2 shockwaves suck and snap so easily. I've never broken a makita gold tho
  8. Yea my boss picked one of these up, it's convenient cuz it's small but I'm not the least impressed with it
  9. Got a link for that 11% promo? I tried searching and couldn't find it
  10. Just watched the video that's strange. My drill has done kinda the same thing where the rpm drops real slow and it feels like it starts impacting like an impact driver.
  11. I'd go 40v or the new 60v, and don't they come with their own batteries? Seeing how u burned up a 20v I wouldn't buy another 20v. Do u have milwaukee batteries already?
  12. In my experience I've never had a bit fall out of my quik lok chuck and I've been using almost daily for a few months now. I love being able to change out bits so easily. Any 7/16 hex bit will fit
  13. I haven't seen them with hard cases, only bags. That's what mine came with
  14. I've never used the compact brushless drill but I know guys who have, I've been told it just has no balls. I would not consider this to be the next drill up from the fuel drill. It's the opposite- next step down. The fuel drill is their top drill.
  15. Time starts when u arrive at ur first location, whether that be the job site, shop, or even the supply house picking up material. Cleanup is on the job, not my free time. If that's a problem then that should've been considered when the job was bid. It's no different than a cop pulling u over- "am I free to go?" If the answer is no then u are still at work and u should be compensated for it.
  16. So a flexvolt blade on a flexvolt saw is far superior but if u put that flexvolt blade on a Milwaukee saw it won't be as good? That's silly
  17. So put a flexvolt blade on all the saws and run a test.
  18. The Tapes! I only use fat tapes, bummer tho that it won't be coming here
  19. Brad Snelling, he's in central Ohio and does a great job and very affordable. He's real popular on the tree forums if u ever happen to visit those
  20. i was a climber too and my modded stihl 201t and a husky 562 and that'll do 99% of most trees around here. Sorry I haven't read the thread but someone mentions climbing trees and chainsaws I just had to jump in ?
  21. I don't know, Milwaukee and the whole red link thing- supposedly the tool and battery talk to each other. Not sure if it's true or just marketing or maybe I'm just understanding it wrong
  22. Based on my recent experiences Id recommend u buy 3 new ones, keep the one that works and return the other two ? U will then have a fantastic drill ?
  23. Looking at a fuel drill it's easy to see how it's lacking on vent holes. Look at a dewalt and they are everywhere
