  1. im a member and saw the thread. thank you. do the felo's grip like the wera's? I know I have seen where wera's will grip upside down or straight out and stay that way. I have smaller hands and they did look pretty big in the pics. I was torn between the two and decided on the weras for the laser tips. I couldn't find much video on the felo's.

the felo set 61391 looks really nice for the money.

The Felos are softer than the Weras and it almost feels like a gel under the rubber outer, it's not squishy but you can feel it if you really dig your fingers into it. The Weras grip screws better but the Felo grips your hand better...they're both gripper than any other screwdriver I have. The Felo is a little slimmer than the Wera.

Here's a comparison picture, all are 4" PH2s. I have a Klein but it's at the shop, this is all I have at home.

  2. They do have the laser cut tips(and the screwdriver holder), it's hard to see with the small picture. I think I like the Felo screwdriver more but the Weras are very nice, especially the tips. The Wera's handle isn't nearly as large as it looks in pictures, which was a pleasant surprise.

BTW, if you have interest in the Felo deal it's on the GJ forum(You do not need to be a member, communication is done via email). The entire catalog is available for the discount but it will take a couple weeks for delivery. Here's a link to the thread: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=309158

  3. Also received my order from German Hand Tools November/December 50% off Felo sale. Think I'm going to have to make another order, these tools are extremely high quality.

  4. If you don't buy it someone else will buy it and they'll be happy and you'll be sad. You'll probably go into a deep depression, lose your job and end up selling churros outside of Walmart. You should definitely buy it...so you don't have to learn how to make churros.

  5. I actually received shipping updates for second of my electronic pliers today. The second one is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, the first one is supposed to be delivered Monday. If they're doing orders by day; I believe Jimbo's should be updated soon, think he ordered the 23rd, I ordered the 22nd. I imagine you ordering on the 30th might delay yours but at least you know they're shipping. :) ...I have to imagine they have sold a LOT of them, it's a ridiculous price and it's still that price! I thought we'd have to wait a month or two, that's how long I had to wait for my Nupla dead blow hammer.

  6. Yeah Mike, I totally lucked out. Fully disclosure the cost was about $13 a piece but I had CC reward points to cut that in half...still well over 50% off! Just goes to show that you have to jump on those warehouse deals and don't worry about condition.

Jimbo, I'm still waiting for those particular Knipex to ship also. One(The same pliers I believe you ordered) of the three finally received updated shipping info yesterday, should be here Monday. I imagine you will have yours by the end of December, I've seen others have already received their pliers...but what's weird is that two of the pliers I'm waiting for are the same pliers but I only received updated info on the one piece.

  7. Any electrical meter buy a Fluke. If you're on a budget, buy a used Fluke(try pawn shops). I've tried other meters, they work but none compare well to a Fluke. It's worth the small investment and it will last and be accurate for as long as it is treated in the way it was intended, even with the occasional drop. If you look at how long you will use it and figure out how much it costs per day to use, they're dirt cheap.

  8. It would sure look good next to those other Bosch tools you have. Also, if you add those tools to the cost of the saw you basically got everything for like 85% off! Justified purchase, you can thank me later. ;)

  9. When I received my M18 drill, the first thing I noticed is how straight and true it is, no wobble. I decided to test how good that is by taking the longest metal rod I had(16") and seeing if it wobbled...not even a hint of wobble. Sometimes some people are just unlucky with brands, I haven't experienced it in tools but I have with CCM hockey equipment. Anything I've ever bought that was CCM I destroyed waaay quicker than I should have.

  10. You should I highly recommend it

I did start an account after my post, not really for a potential giveaway but Dan and Eric crack me up(That Skilsaw video when they were reading the boxes, OMG hahaha). I wouldn't have entered this one anyway because I don't have a need for a nailer, I'd rather have someone that can use it have it. :)

  11. Nice dude, thanks for sharing the link, now I have another spot to check for deals!

No problem, also, if you get the wrong item...as I just did today(I received a Husky ratchet instead of Gearwrench) try complaining via chat. I ended up with a full refund and a spare ratchet. Looks like someone scammed Amazon by buying a Husky ratchet and returning it to them in the Gearwrench packaging and I ended up with it...kinda sucks because I don't want the Husky but can't complain too hard when it was free.

I just ordered three of these. Hopefully they come back in stock and aren't so cheap because they were clearing them out. Can't beat that price.

Yeah, I figured it was worth it, they don't even charge you until it ships so it's worth a shot. I ended up buying two so I could have one at work and one at home.

  12. Today is 15% off Amazon Warehouse deals. Please check condition, most of the stuff I get from warehouse deals is new but out of packaging. Just go here and search for whatever brand you like, if you're getting a lot of results you can limit price range or my favorite % off MSRP. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_nr_n_9?fst=as%3Aoff&rh=n%3A10158976011%2Cn%3A228013%2Cp_8%3A2229036011%2Cn%3A!468240%2Cn%3A328182011&bbn=10158976011&ie=UTF8&qid=1443594271&rnid=10158976011

I already picked up a set of Knipex needle nose pliers with comfort grip, for $21. On KCTool they were over $40, on ebay they were around $25 but on Amazon I have credit card reward points so I only paid $6! Good luck gentlemen!
