  1. I used to have a similar problem with 2 brushless Bosch impact drivers I used to have and it put it down to the electronics just miss behaving every now and then , on my impacts it use to stop working when the battery got down to 2 bars and then I would swap battery and the tool would work then I could put the other one back on and it would be fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I have this saw and it’s great , I use mine with a flexvolt battery which gives it a little more torque but it’s great just on a normal 18v battery ! The size is perfect for everything I need to do it cuts 3x2 with ease and runs all day [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have had a few of them drills and they all do it after a few years , is it drilling but the hammer action is really weak ? If so it’s the hammer pins that have gone and I sent mine back to Bosch and it was £105 for the repair and it came back good as new ! My work mates have all got the same one and they went on there’s too it’s common after about 3 years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Which ones are you after meaning what bit do you want at each end ? There’s plenty in the uk on eBay that Bosch do that have different ends Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I use these ones Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I use the double ended impact control bits and yes the advantage with them is you can have different ends on them so for example I use the ones that have a pz2 at one end and ph2 at the other so I just rotate the bit between screws as I use them types of screws daily. I wish the makitagold double ended bits were different at each end as I don’t see the point in it being the same each end apart from when one end breaks or wears out. 7. Yes that’s exactly what you can do it’s all the same just need a uk charger Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Well sounds like we have a Ridgid fanboy here [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have this scanner and it’s terrible it’s so inconsistent ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I have that strummer in your last photo do you see the notch in the guard you put a screwdriver in that and slide it in to a hole you line up to lock the head then you undo the head by hand it might be left hand thread like a Moyer saw blade I think but it’s easy to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I didn’t know that I always thought they had 3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Did the triple leds leave any of the dewalt impacts then as all the ones I’ve used or had have them ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. On the 18v mitre saw ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Lp40m012 it’s the 40 tooth blade Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes I’ve found a Freud blade the right size that is for a mitre saw just wondered if anyone is using one and if they think they are getting better results with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hi I have the uk 18v dewalt mitre with the standard 40t blade it came with and wondered if any of you lot have ever replaced it with a Freud blade and what was the outcome ? I have a corded saw the I have a few Freud blades for and they made a big difference but wondered what it was like in the cordless saw with them being thicker blades , I was going to buy the 24t Freud as I’m sure it will still give fairly clean results but thought I would ask. 17. Because a few people on here have said the flexvolt makes a big difference in performance on the 20v mitre Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. No but the brushes model is a bit of a concrete block compared to others that’s all I’m saying , the new one looks like they have addressed this issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Bare in mind the title says on a 20v tool I’m not using them on a 60v I just want to know the difference between the two in power on a 20v mitre Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Maybe it’s built in as my bosch doesn’t have a blower switch but does blow the saw dust away Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. With the larger cells of the 9 Ah I was thinking better performance as my bosch 6.3 Ah I’m my circular saw is far better then the 5 Ah performance wise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hi can anyone tell me if there is much difference in power between the 6ah flexvolt battery and the 9 Ah when used on the 20v mitre saw ? The reason I ask is I’m going to buy one mainly for my miter saw but if there isn’t a lot in the performance I will get the 6 Ah as at least it will get used on a few other tools as it’s not as big but if the 9 Ah makes the saw a lot more powerful then I will buy that and leave it on the saw ? 23. Apart from the fact it can be used as an anchor on a cruise ship ! It doesn’t have any finesse about it at all compared to the bosch which just feels right in your hand compared. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yes I had the same issue with my gdx I broke the led lens cover easily but bought a spare off the bosch website and replaced it but like you say the dewalt ones are fine that’s because they are recessed in to the body so they are hard to damage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I had the GDX with that 1/2 inch socket and 1/4 hex chuck and got rid of it as I was fed up with certain bits not fitting as the shank has to go deeper then normal before it clicks into place so certain bit holders and hex drill bits wouldn’t work as the body of them hit the tool before clicking into place!
