I raised my DW735 planer up to 4" to edge a 1x4 and when I was lowering it to plane some wood down to 1/4" thick it will only go to 2 1/4" and stops there. Any ideas to why? Hope this is an easy fix as the closest DeWalt dealer is over 110 miles away.

Does anyone know if the down force on RE180PL1G plunge router can be adjusted, in my case to make it easier/softer? Thanks!

On my DW734 the cutter head will not raise without using a lot of pressure and then there is a loud bang and the cutter head will raise a tiny bit. I have taken off the side panels and cannot see anything obvious that is causing this. What could be the problem? Thanks, Duane

Does anyone know if there are template guide bushings that fit a Ryobi 2 HP 10-Amp Plunge Base Router-RE180PL1G out there somewhere a guy could buy?

I found the base protector I needed. Now I need the plunge router base adapter for Makita 195563-0 plunge router that allows you to install a bushing guide for template routering. It's the large ring in the picture below.

Does anyone know where I can buy a Base Protector for a Makita 195563-0 plunge router for my Makita RT0701C compact router. I have searched around but no luck so far.

Does anyone know where to find a large , say, 5" or 6", clear acrylic base that would fit a Makita rt0701cx7 Compact router. I would like to use it for my sign making template set.

I have a Makita RT0701C Trimmer Router that I will be mounting in a router table. However, my problem is I need longer screws to mount the acrylic base to the base plate on my Trimmer. Does anyone know what size screws are used in the Trimmer base plate or any ideas where to get this info? I have looked in the owners manual but there is no parts page in it and I cannot find an e-mail address for Makita. Thanks!
