Looking to get a wet saw. Not interested in a table top kind. Definitely something with the sliding tray. Is something like the 8” ridgid for $450. Good enough or should I try to save up and go for something like the dewalt 24000s. At $850. I’m not doing it every day but tile is part of most jobs at work. Any thoughts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would buy the tool u like. A corded work lamp and if the brand has a good radio great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
That crazy there's no way I'm modifying the available blades to fit the unit. That jig saw would be going straight back to depot. As the Home Depot brand Ryobi should 1000% be compatible with the blades Home Depot sells. That is a huge let down from ryobi's design and research teams Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there max size for screws for an impact driver?
jswoger1986 replied to Alkis's topic in Power Tools
I've never done that but I can pictures it the heat that is produced from the friction created from no pilot hole must be so intense but also the strain on the tool has to get really hot also. I completely burnt out the brake on my makita impact gun installing lags when I was still installing commercial skylights Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I've noticed that regardless of size the density of the material you are screwing into and the pilot hole are the biggest factor as long as you can keep the friction down between screw and material an impact driver will work great just make sure you pilot hole is only as big as the shaft that way the threads get a deep enough bite but without the shaft squeezed into the hole. Your 100% right individually they aren't just for someone that needs to try to get a bunch of tools in a short period of time. I'm already in the makita line so it's not the end of the world and I'm now at a one at a time point luckily. I just recently also bought into the dewalt line. If I go for a flex volt tool it will probably be the resip saw I think they released with it since the makita is on its way out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It sounds like dewalt is going to be entering the Milwaukee price range which really sucks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
