  1. Very interesting too bad the timers a bad idea I'd love to throw a timer in one of these two gang boxes right next to the receptacle
  2. I do really with they made a 6.5" that had blade on right. I really don't need the bigger blade and extra weight. But I think the 7 1/4" will do just fine
  3. So it's ok I leave my battery's in my main tools? I thought everyone did
  4. I was not able to find it on my phone if anyone can let me know the link that would be great
  5. Thanks a lot man yeah I just saw it the other night I appreciate everyone letting me know and looking out. I have actually sold it about a week ago on here but I'm getting my hands on another one next week. I will let everyone who asked me about one know when I have it
  6. Hey all. Thanks for all who let me know about this. I had sold the custom case to someone on here about a week ago. Thanks for everyone who cared and looked out I may have another one in a week or so I will post on here for you
  7. Wait it's bad to leave the batteries on the tools? I always do and I think a lot of others do too. My fuel drill and driver always have a battery attached. So they can stand on my work bench
  8. Yea I looked into the foam. It's too much $ for me and this project. I still haven't figured out if I need to seal the board or put a barrier between the gypsum board and the insulation.
  9. I have also heard that people say it's not good to charge the battery unless it's fully depleted. For example one today was at 2 of the 4 led's so I charged it. Is that bad? Should I be running them fully down?
  10. Where did u get the screw drivers and what did u pay?
  11. Milwaukee Fuel 7 1/4" circular saw ...and a beast of a paper shredder. Wood and paper saws today.
  12. So I don't know why, but I took the 6.5" circular saw back tonight and swapped it for the 7 1/4". Not sure why I care about the side the blade is on haha. I really don't need the 7 1/4" but I think I like blade right better. I will never be cutting thru anything think enough to matter...
  13. So I've seen this question and a Huge variety of different answers over the net in the past few years... As for you Milwaukee guys do you leave your XC batteries on the charger overnight. I used to do it with my old 18 V Dewalt sawzall battery's. I'm convinced that's what ruined the batteries and only give me about 15 minutes of run time a year down the road. I have 3 XC 5.0 batteries that are all at about 50% charge right now. Do you guys just pop them all on the charger and head to bed and take them off at some point tomorrow or do you charge them and come back in a few hours later and take them off during the day??
  14. Thanks for the advice very interesting I have a brand-new $139 M18 starter kit. I'm trying to decide whether I open it and use the 5.0 battery and just throw the extra charger in the closet or swap it for a two pack of the XC's. Also can I ask why you only buy kits what is the need for all those extra chargers and everything. it's much more cost-effective just to buy tool only if you have a few batteries
  15. Are you guys buying your Milwaukee batteries... Home Depot, online (if online what website), eBay, etc. I currently have 2 M18 5.0 batteries. I am in need of more. Is it best to just stick with the 5.0's only? in my mind it makes zero sense to buy the small ones, right. I saw at Home Depot it's like 129 for a single 5.0 and it's the same price for 2 of the XC's (3.0's). Are you guys buying the two packs of the XC's or is it better just to get the 5's. I know it's based on the application and everything but you can always use a 5
  16. If you would of done that exact job with the 6.5" would it have been just as good. You ever use it
  17. What made you choose the 7 1/4" one instead of the 6.5" for that kinda work. Also what is that red thing on your saw
  18. Thanks@JerryNY good stuff. Yea I just looked and the7 1/4" has some newer parts. Def not same inside. It had a higher # stator (basically the main part of the motor) bigger means more could and more power, etc. but regardless all it offers is more power, a tad deeper cutting, more cutting time, etc. as long as it can cut plywood and 2x4's I'm good!
  19. Just used the shit out of the thing... Looks like 6.5" is perfect!
  20. Does anyone think it's true that the 7 1/4 can get almost double the cuts with a larger blade too? I don't care about that as much, cutting almost 200 2x4's on a single battery is plenty haha. But thoughts were about the power of the 7 1/4 and how much stronger and what the smaller one can't cut that the bigger can
  21. I don't mean to keep beating a dead horse but I'm still really on the fence about this 6.5 vs 7 1/4" saw. Just was when looking for a blade for it today there was only two at Home Depot that fit and both of them were junk ...as far as the bigger one, there must've been about 20 choices. I stopped to talk to the Milwaukee rep when he saw me today about the circ saws in general and he said the 6 1/2 gets about 180 cuts and the 7 1/4 gets over 300 when cutting 2x4's. On another site it said that the 6 1/2 fuel is around three years old and the 7 1/4 is about a year so the tech in the bigger one is better and allows it to get almost 3 cuts? I'm usually not like this tools
  22. That's one thing I did notice though for the 6 1/2 there are very few blades at the store to choose from. But for the 7 1/4 version there's a ton... I'm really still on the fence about this one vs swapping for the 7 1/4".
  23. I just had to post pics after I opened. I just want to thank everyone on here for all your help. This is by far the best tool community out there!!
