  1. I saw these the other day, how is it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So this is not a buy, but a win! I was 1 of the 3 very very fortunate individuals to win the Metabo flat head angle grinder! This is my very first contest/tool win on this forum ever (actually my very first power tool win in my life)!! I'm going through some rough times & this win is by far the best thing that could of ever happened to me & get me thinking positive again! Thanks again to Metabo, the Tools In Action team & all of you on here & in this community! #tiacrew Sorry the pics are crap, I'll take better ones tomorrow and pics. I have a cool video! 3. Yeah@KnarlyCarl I think you're right. I do remember seeing one or something that's almost identical or close enough! A friend I know saw this post and is sending me the $30 organizer I'm going to give it a try!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Also it's not a "true wet saw " where the pump sprays water on the blade and tile. this just has a section you fill with water and the blade just spins in water. it kicks up a lot of dust and the water gets super dirty super fast underneath the deck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have use that exact one a few times it's cheap but it's no good! for another hundred dollars or so you can have a real rigid wet saw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I have really been getting into Kreg in the last year or so. And recently noticed that the Kreg things are all over the place. haha. The Kreg K4 Jig is sitting on my shelf, all my drill bits, allen key, square bits are all in an organizer and one of my bags. My K3 kit in on the shelf, the clamps are hanging up & the my boxes of screws are all in a Milwaukee organizer, etc. ...you get it, haha. I saw on the site, that all they have now is the "Kreg System Organizer" ..This looks ok, but is really built for the new Kreg K5 system with the 2 sides (the big hole in the middle is meant for those parts) so its a lot of wasted space for 90% of people who have the K4 system. I also came across some images online of an old Kreg toolbox, that looks like it came in a few sizes. This thing is super cool, holed the screws on top and all the jigs and parts clip in the bottom perfectly. but looks like they don't make anymore. Should i grab one online, looks like a few sites still have some left, but they are like $80 shipped!! does anytone have suggestions on how they store all their Kreg stuff??
  7. I got the following in the pics below plus a 1x5" and 1x2" both 6 feel long in sanded pine. This is what I am planning on using to make a small coffee table top. I was going to alternate sizing. In regards to the crag wood pieces they don't tell you what what they're made of or if they're stainable, just can be painted. is there anyway I can get them in Pine? 8. Nice case man. I really like it you did a great job with the insert Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. What what!!!! $75 they are like $125 - $150 near me. I'm struggling to pay for the smaller one for $100. That's a freaking steal! I wish it was $75 at mine... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I have been in need of lights for over a year now... I was thinking about saving up a few bucks a week for one of these, but then noticed taht its been out for ever and has always been $100. is this super outdated at this point. hate to buy it in a few months and then another one come out....
  11. was this one the the 3 that were won? I won one, but have not gotten any packages yet
  12. Wow what a great deal I had No idea about that sale!! There around 265 at Home Depot after tax Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. So last night I sent the money to my contact & I'm super excited! I sent $100 because he sending me some extra parts for a few other tools I'm going to convert... which I will update you all on soon. It cost me about $40 for the parts for this build, I'm sorry it took so long everyone, I've literally been saving five dollars a paycheck for the last few months due to money issues and a lot of family struggles which a bunch of you know about and have been very supportive and kind! I can't wait to do this and will write up a very very in-depth tutorial and some videos when it arrives. even though it's taken a long time, I hope to contribute more projects to this forum and will let you guys pick the next one!! hopefully it's not going to be another five dollar a week at a time saving $, but I'm Trying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah that's why it's taken me so long and hundreds of $$ in long-distance phone calls. haha. but I finally found somebody overseas who is also interested in US parts so he's basically covering the shipping because he is interested in doing the opposite there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. hhhahaha. "neighborhood memo" -- hello neighbors, there have been 5 sheds this week stolen, please call with info
  16. I am looking to get into woodworking and really like the reclaimed wood look... suggestions on where to get it guys? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Maybe I read it wrong but you said it broke your pocket. you can get 5 quarts Mobil one at Walmart for 23 bucks and then I get an OEM filter and crush washer from Acura for $7. under 30 bucks for basically the best oil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hey guys I've been really really wanting to get into & learn wood working ...like tables, cabinets, that kind of stuff. I have the majority of the tools, Craig jigs, nice work benches, clamps, table saw, etc. I'm just not sure what is the best kind/type of wood I should be buying to learn to make things like a coffee table or end table. I am really into the reconditioned wood look but I figured normal wood would be better to learn with... I also really want to learn how to build a tabletop with multiple strands. I see guys pocket hole & glue or wood dowel etc. just trying to get advice to get started Here is some I saw I liked and want to learn eventually: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So how many of us still change our own oil, it seems to be coming an almost extinct thing. Everyone spends a lot of money on their car and then takes it to a Jiffy Lube and gets "fully synthetic & quality filter" installed. My car needs to run quality full synthetic. I was feeling lazy yesterday so I called Acura, a local shop, and the drive-in place near me, all quoted me anywhere from $70-$90 because it's "expensive oil". I got 5 quarts Mobil 1 at Walmart for $23... absolute score and then got the filter straight from Acura for $6.50! Does anybody else just get lazy and say screw it and pay 80 bucks? Side note: I love when I hear people at work talking about you know... that "I have a Ferrari & the other guy has "classic cars" at home ...but they never drive them to work or show anybody because I don't wanted to get messed up in the parking lot haha. Am I the only person here that's heard this kind of talk at work?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I know everyone has been curious about the outcome of this project... I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the parts tonight or tomorrow morning depend on when the guy in Europe shoots me a call back. Based on all my international calls and research and measuring from my saw & the overseas ones, it looks like this will go off without a hitch. Were all about 99% positive. After this review, I plan on doing a very very in-depth video & build review with everything laid out and specs. And then more important I'll start all over again with a new tool. I'd like to hear your guys thoughts on the next venture. what about the M18 Fuel 7 1/4 right blade circular saw? Or is there something else you guys looking for? I was hoping to have more money right now because this is a perfect time for me/us to get our hands on a black Milwaukee case that everyone's been talking about. Hopefully I'll have more money after I order parts for a different tool next time!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks for all the replies guys when I get home in a few minutes I'll take a bunch of pictures Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks@KnarlyCarl I honestly wasn't sure what they're worth was just making them cheaper than at HD and covering shipping. My sawzall broke and I need one so I got a kit but haven't opened yet because the only Way I'll be able to keep the tool is if I get rid of The 9.0 battery and the rapid charger to cover some of the cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Welcome Tim this is by far one of the best tool forms out there, but more importantly a group of some of the best guys who look out and care for each other Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
