  1. Awesome, glad my luck became yours too
  2. Gotta love the freebie AA/AAA batteries. I don't think I've actually bought any in years!
  3. I have the Ryobi caulk gun, its great for mass glueing but I pull out the hand powered gun for detail work.
  4. Seriously just get the Ryobi, their stuff is so cheap its really not like an "investment". I'm all in on DeWalt but there are simply tools I needed that either don't exist or cost more than justifiable.
  5. Got the Ryobi fan.......... whodathunk its fucking awesome! Million years I never would have thought tool companies would be making fans but WOW I'm impressed.
  6. My brother-in-law will own this I bet, which means I'll get a chance to use it.
  7. I did, but they didn't have the single packs in stock so they let me get a 2 pack of batteries for $50
  8. It's ok because the battery is free, right, right?!?! Lol
  9. After a little more digging it seems Wally Bags and McRose are one in the same, I'm calling this a big score!
  10. @FlaveNico, yeah mine is normally crazy high priced so I rarely go, but I had a little time to kill so I stopped in. I'm kinda stoked about the belt I got, it looks a little rough but it's all on the surface, my wife had some hemp oil she suggested I try and it's looking 75% better now. I've been wanting a decent single bag belt for a while, sometimes my full belt rig is just too much, and with this there is just enough space for the essentials.
  11. I was poking around at the Habitat Restore today and found this belt for a couple bucks, it's made by Wally Bags but in a little bit of googling all I could find is Wally Bags of Maryland that makes garment bag. Anyway it looks very well made and I'm curious what everyone uses to clean up their belts with?
  12. I went for the Lowes deal too, only they didn't have the free battery in stock, so they offered me a hell of a deal on the 2 pack....

    DEWALT Radio

I personally use a Black+Decker bluetooth speaker I converted to run on DeWalt batteries, but I mostly do audio books, LRN (libertarian podcasts), only occasionally Spotify or Pandora.

    DEWALT Radio

Hello and welcome to the forums, first I do not own either of them but I have some insight, the Toughsystem is the better sounding of the 2, not that the 025 sounds bad, it too sounds great, just the Toughsystem is better, deep bass, full rich sound. The only real drawback of the Toughsystem is the largest battery that it can accept is 5.0ah, all larger batteries simple won't fit, while the 025 can fit them all. Hope that helps
  15. Ok but did you get $50k....... I mean seriously $50k for a kitchen!!! Granted he did crown molding in 50% of the place...... But $50k!!!!!!
  16. Ok let me repeat this get the coping shoe..... $50,000 for this........
  17. GET THE COPING SHOE for that jigsaw!!!! The house I just built owners hired a cabinet guy to the tune of $50k for their kitchen and crown molding and he used that saw for all his coping. He looked like he was just hacking away the way he used it but the results are fantastic.
  18. The saw is what I enjoyed seeing in action, it hits all my wants except for the price tag. The light while welcomed, I've waited to long and already bought into another brand. BTW I know the mower was a hit because I....... Saw a thingy about a thingy that answering questions..... Forgetting first rule... There is no answer questions club, so I don't know anything.........
  19. All I asked for was the coupon code.... just planned to spend $150, he offered the better deal... so i took it!!!
  20. Hell if there was an XR version of the 6 1/2 I'd be a happy guy. I'm a right hander and hate using saws with the blade on the wrong side, I have a wrong sided saw that gets some use, but my two main saws are the brushed DeWalt and Skil worm. Some day my old man is going to not be able to lift his Porter Cable 743 and that day it will be mine!
  21. In honor of #toughinthesouth day.... Err because I just collected a hell of a payday or maybe it's just a decent deal for a receip saw I wanted.... Lowe's is giving a free 6ah battery with certain XR tools so I added em to the cart, found a $20 off promo code set for store pickup(didn't checkout) and went to customer service, asked if they would honor my coupon code and let me just pay cash in store.... Well no battery in stock so the store manager who just happened to be standing nearby says "tell ya what, I'll knock the $139 off the 2 pack if you want" And they are matching Menards 11% rebate to boot!
  22. Maybe they will unveil a revolutionary new cordless stapler or an all new tool box...... Oh yeah the hohum NPS17 already did that lolololol. DeWalt could release a toothpick and it would be more exciting than Milwaukee's event. I'm personally looking forward to Milwaukee reacting, last year was just pathetic, look at our 9ah battery that will be out umm, sometime by Christmas..... Hey check out our new website showing why 18v is better than 60v, wait, what?...... Cracks me up.
  23. Blade is on the correct side and has a hook.... Can't see anything to complain about.
  24. looks like the Die's body is modeled after the OMT... I like.
  25. that's what I'm thinking, could be wrong but I think it is
