is it all brushless 20v stuff or is any of it flexvolt? I could see the router and tile saw as being flexvolt. Anything else you might get to test or see?

sounds nice. My right angle impact attachment seems to work for now at least. I noticed the right angle attachment has a flexiclick connection at the end unlike the 18v version.which has a normal drill chuck at the end. Seems beneficial to have the option to add any attachment to the right angle attachment particularly the offset driver.

so what would the use of an offset chuck be?

Generic trade guys says, "don't buy flexvolt cause different battery platform than 20v stuff"... proceeds to buy into a 12v platform.

are tools with flexiclick or similar offerings from festool and metabo worth it or just a gimick?

12v and 10.8v may be able to do these jobs but they are a different battery platform. With subcompact you get the size benefits of 12v/10.8v tools but get to stay within the same battery platform.

nice. They showed these off at their event last June. They look really nice. Having them fit tough boxes is a great feature.

I wish I could help but I don't know much about track saws... yet. Hoping to buy the flexvolt tracksaw soon. Maybe I can find a good preorder deal on it if I decide to preorder. Maybe @ChrisK could help since I know he has a track saw.

$2500 isn't bad for a riding mower a bit of a premium over budget gas models though.
