I made this shelf for my wife to display her Snoopy figures. I also did a detailed Instructables that is in a Shelving contest right now. Judging ends in two days, so check it out and give me a vote if you like it. If you don't like it, don't vote for it. Some awesome prizes are up for grabs. I'd appreciate your opinion on my Instructable. Thanks. Link to contest: www.instructables.com/contest/shelving2016/ Sent from my XT1058 using Tapatalk
It took about a week to build, which included taking apart the pallets. I was off work most of the week so a few days were 6-10 hrs working on it or letting glue dry.
Mine is 24' x 24' attached with 16' door. My wife insists that she still be able to park in it during the winter, so everything is on casters to move it around. Basically, I have half of that space to use, and the other half sometimes.
Here's a storage barn I built 7-8 years ago. Pretty pleased with the results. 12x16 with overhead loft. I built it myself without using an air nailer. All hammer and nails. It took about 2 1/2 months to complete on my days off from work. The paint is holding up pretty good but the trim could use a touch up. The biggest thing I learned was to make sure that you have the proper tools to do the job. My ladder was too small to reach the roof and I ended up borrowing my neighbor's ladder. A good thing to have great neighbors like that. Sent from my XT1058 using Tapatalk
I found a Ridgid oscillating spindle sander on Craigslist for $125, then paid $115 for it. Owner was moving and didn't want to haul it with him. You can find some good deals. Sent from my XT1058 using Tapatalk
