  1. I'm seeing a lot of Milwaukee batteries in the past two pages here with blue on them what is that??

I used a Blue Sharpie paint pen to mark my batteries and cordless tools. I stole the idea from IG: @Hvac_artisan. I've always used a regular Sharpie on my tools, and blue 3M electrical tape on my hand tools in order to keep track of them. Noah showed off his system of marking batteries on the vent holes, and I liked it enough to give it a try!

My Father bought this for my work van. He said if it holds up he may buy a couple more(are you listening Milwaukee!). I also picked up two of those gorilla slim-fold platforms for $19 bucks each.

  3. Got this on sale through Amazon, pretty poor finishing and not as smooth as the other NWS pliers I have, these might go back:

I like how Sears keeps buying me really expensive Knipex tweezers:

Good to know on the angle pliers! I've been contemplating buying them.

My Dad bought me this at HD this morning! And I've already been putting it to use!

And I had to buy this today! Dad will be inheriting the M12 fuel 5 3/8" saw. I've also been putting the saw to use tonight. I'm making some floating shelves out of 2x12 cedar that I had laying around for my moms house. I ripped it in half with an old ryobi table saw. 12119371d9bc50dea93072dbe6ac6b22.jpg

  5. Bought these this morning for my Mother. She needed a drill to keep in the house, and I'm okay with her borrowing mine, but the deal was pretty good. I was going to get her an older model of the impact, with a battery and charger for $50. For $100 got her the compact drill/driver kit, and picked up the "newer" model $80 impact for free. 3491f64cac68f2b01836da14d3d0ed30.jpg

  6. How about this awful, ugly (IMO) bulkhead...

Look how much space is wasted!!!! I'm a tall guy, my head was just under it.

Plus when i started removing it, I found it was only being held on by a few 8D nails into the plaster lathe...

Check this out, when I pulled down the bulkhead, there was some old bricks up in the ceiling, someone just couldn't pull out a few leftover bricks from an old chimney, too much work lol

Fast forward from building the cabinets, the frames, and the doors and the shelves, and multiple trips to a friend's house to use his woodshop, etc etc, PLUS i was getting married shortly, forgetting pictures of the progess along the way, and my new wife took a picture of her own while I was doing some work, it's all a blur....

It's so surreal, it's just a blur anymore... just like all the work I did on this house.... and what's to come as well

That's awesome man. It feels super rewarding to finish a project of your own. I have some projects that I still need to finish at home. The job usually comes first, and family time before home improvement time. It's amazing the amount of detail we can put into a new home/remodel, yet I still have concrete floors(which have grown on me), one 120v circuit for the whole kitchen, paneling that needs to be removed in the hallway, siding that needs to be installed on the old garage....

  7. I've got server all and they are fantastic pliers. Super durable finish and the grips are great. Irwin commissioned NWS to make their high end pliers and they want a turd load more than the NWS for rebranded tools! Check out this site too...

I've got the Irwin branded NWS fantastico's, or power slot diagonals. As Irwin calls them. They cut great but they look ugly as all hell.

  8. I like that there's not a whole lot of chrome on it, compared to other high trim levels of GM, ford, and Ram trucks. But it's still out of my price range.

  9. In heavy dust and sweaty conditions, this shows the mask restricts some air in my m1 which means I'll most likely need to get the m2 which sounds like it's more suited for more intense work

    .

I removed the filter to show it after a heavy afternoon use in my basement... I also wrung out a few drops of sweat lol!

My M2 is on its way from Saint Paul, and is supposed to be here tomorrow.

  10. Nothing too exciting, grabbed a couple things today at Lowes. Was going to grab the 18v Bosch jigsaw but they were out. adb0d98680e887c5a8b2b53021666978.jpg

    .

I think I would be better off having got the m2 mask, but I know the filter that this comes with won't work for me, does not allow me to take a full breath of air, so the upgraded filters such as the f2 (hepa) and the f3 (hepa+ active carbon) work fine.

I was right on the verge of the large filter, but the extra large is the right fit for me. Their customer service is excellent and easy, since I had to exchange the large for an extra large.

I ordered the M2 with the F3 filters

Picked up some stocking stuffers for my sisters at the depot today. The tape measures are for me though!

I finally picked up a contractor pro rig. My father has had his for around 15 years and still going strong. Suspenders were separate and are on the way. I love my veto pro pac's, but I really like a suspender rig for residential construction. Plus with my lower back problems the gatorback belt, and gel suspender pads are comfy.

  13. I only have the white "Milwaukee" logo left on a few of my tools, just the stuff I haven't used a lot. For my m12 drill I got a wild hair and decided to use a silver sharpie to color it, seems to hold up pretty well.

I used the white inkzall paint pen on my m12 fuel impact.

Those cases are great! I keep drill bits in one along with my more commonly used drills inside my Milwaukee 26" toolbox. And I keep a smaller version in each of my Veto Propacs with a variety of wire nuts, tek screws, ground screws, mech screws,Buchanan's, and even easy anchors.

  15. That feature will only be on the 120v MAX model, which is still in development phase. But going by Dewalt's previous time frames, that radio should be available for pre-order late summer 2018........

...sold exclusively at ACE... Right beside the Flex Seal...

  16. Lol; "Dewalt has made products that are too popular to keep on the shelves". Holy crap, a FlexVolt radio spot literally just came on the radio as I type this. Going hard on this new line!

"This new radio will run on 20v, or even louder at 60VOLTS! *under breath (for less runtime)"

I understood what you meant by flexvolt radio spot, I just couldn't resist.
