I figured I would recieve the compact kit too but 5.0s were included. I have a couple of compact batteries from the grease gun kit I bought. They are fine for that tool but can't beat run time of 4.0s and 5.0s!! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

6 inch lags or rss tech screws is a job for 3/8" impact. Or maybe even the 1/2" with converter tip. Right tool for each job. I pay for most of my tools so don't hunt moose with a bb gun! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I ran this against generation 2s and a onekey. Fastening pole barn steel with 1 1/2" pole barn screws. 5 hours on site. All ran off same battery. 2 4.0 ah and 2 - 5.0 ah. I have 3 other Fuel impacts and the SURGE will run beside them without fail! The sound it makes does make me think for a second everytime I pick it up. Many, many hours of the traditional impacts so ears aren't accustomed. Maybe they never. Nice and quiet is fimlne by me! I have had the privilege of testing out the SURGE for the past month and all the hype is truly accurate. It is as powerful as regular Fuel impacts and super quiet. While using the SURGE I continually have the feeling it is set on a lower setting. Noise and vibration cause this affect. You will not be disappointed in this tool!
