  1. They are available at Lowe’s...many in stock.
  2. @midogrumpy..very cool. I would bought this instead of a dewalt cooler, thanks.
  3. Dewalt sawzalls trash ? The compact XR is much better then The Milwaukee hackzalls..the 60v is not as good as the super sawzall only because the new super has orbital..like the Makita AVT..( which is a very good sawzall but corded) ....dewalt doesn’t make very many tools that are trash. When they do make a tool usually it’s a leader for years ( or gen 3 for Milwaukee) ..Flexvolt tools ( except the sawzall) are still unmatched in power and performance in the real world of building/ framing...not even close. ...and that’s 3 years later...60v is no gimmick for real users. Milwaukee definitely has better and cheaper batteries ( they give the 12ah away a lot) ..but Milwaukee is still 2 platforms like dewalt..a 18V platform and a 18 v HO platform ..you definitely need the HO batteries to get any performance out of HO tools..otherwise Milwaukee 18v xp batteries don’t perform half as well.

M12 Cordless die grinder, a must have...
  6. @Jronman..gen 2 tough system?
  7. @cory...its not what craftsman May become its what they are now..SBD shows no signs of making Craftsman tools in the USA ..every Lowes has large stock of Chinese made craftsman.with some Taiwan stuff ..but almost no USA made tools or power tools.....this thread got hijacked sorry..... @Pouet..its great news for ryobi users I don't think ryobi even has a USB charger..
  8. @Jronman..the point is its called Atomic...should be small and powerful, its not much better in either case...Ridgid "octane" is significantly better then gen 5x....dewalt should focus on upgrading the 20v line, smaller and more powerful...expanding the flexvolt line significantly... And make craftsman 90% in America and All craftsman hand tools in the USA
  9. I bought that ryobi adapter..I still have some ryobi tools. .. @midogrumpy I'm with ya, atomic junk..no dewalt 2019 show, no flex adapter, no 10" mitresaw, 10" table saw, .no 20v upgrades to older tools...SBD is so focused on craftsman crap, they loose site of what's important to us...to them its about money.. .....I love my flex tools, for framing but batteries are ridiculous, Milwaukee gives the 12ah away with everything...
  10. 8ah....1/$179...2 pack $249...toolnut...June 30...same size as the 20v 6ah.... ..so if they can make a 20v 6ah and 8ah the same size then a 10ah should be the same size too?........or....a big flex/20v..9ah and 12ah the same size ,shouldn't a 15ah be the same size? A flex 15ah would be 5ah 20v ? And that would let us frame houses with just 2 of those per tool all day.... We use the 12ah now..
  11. Oh thanks @stefcl100..that's a commercial backpack blower 82v...certainly not a hand held blower..flexvolt for the win.
  12. I only own a couple ridged tools...but, they just had a deal at hd.....starter kit( 1/3ah octane battery, 1/ 6ah octane battery, 1 fast charger, 1 octane bag) plus 1/ 9ah octane battery for $109...had to buy it.
  13. @Jronman..I meant battery operated within a tool line. In my excitement of the new flexvolt blower I may have jumped the gun....anyway I don’t see that green works that your talking about.
  14. Just marketing...I bought the 2 tool kit for $179..they are crap. Not small and no balls...I returned it already..maybe diy guys will buy them. ...as you know I use dewalt (/flexvolt and 20v max)heavily for framing ,but this stuff is all marketing . @Biggie..I'm with ya on impacts at max torque , we only use impacts for up to 3" screws..and All our decks are screwed off with drill drivers , much faster then impacts ( cortex plugs and screws)... ...the 791 and makita drill are the fastest. The new gen 3 fuel drill sucked...waste of my money.
  15. The 60v blower is the most powerful on the market
  16. Buy the 792 ..much much better
  17. If you mean cut windows out on a framed wall, with 1/2" cdx ply or zip ply..yes it did BUT would I do it everyday ...Hell No...we use porter cable 3.25/HP routers for that... Works great for round over , straight cuts, making " boots" for wrapped posts..best cordless router on the market..but definitely bigger
  18. Switch won't turn it on when pushed in...they replaced the tablesaw with a new one..
