I saw one available in Europe I think. 60 volt.

If only it could stay clean!
Nice trailer, I think I’ve seen it somewhere before. Here, CT, or YouTube.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen or heard of it but carpet ball is an awesome game, similar idea.

Keeping them clean and free of sawdust works well. Also, paying attention to how much pressure you direct onto it.
The clamps work very well.

What parts do you need to chuck up the auger bit to the drill?

It wasn’t assembled in the water.
Can you disconnect it and drag it into shore?

Hey Moze,
Maybe you could figure out something like this and share it with us.
IDK if the base is magnetic or just heavy, or?

Now I will say that a lot of times, blades may not be dull, but a build up of sap can result from sappy wood and the blade only requires a good cleaning.
As for sharpening a saw blade, I for one have never tried it, as most of the time I have ripped a few teeth off the blade and a new 7 1/4 general purpose blade is a cheap as 10.00 unless you need something fine tooth for finish work.

I’m currently using Diablo 7 1/4” blades in my 10” table saw to make long rips in Hardie plank. Disposable blades work good.

@midogrumpy That's crazy helpful, thanks man!
The reason I ask about TSTAK is that when I do a search on homedepot.com, there are literally zero TSTAK SKUs in stock within a hundred miles of me. On Amazon, there are only a couple TSTAK products still listed and most of them are selling from third-party sellers at inflated prices, typical of the sort of thing that happens when a product is either discontinued or in short supply.
Lowe's still has Versastack SKUs available, but the 3-piece "system tower" kits are no longer available anywhere. This seems to align with the OP's observations back in December that Lowe's appears to be clearing these systems out.
I have a couple cordless tools that came w/ TSTAK boxes and I don't really need the extra durability or waterproof capabilities that come with Toughsystem. Versastack/TSTAK would be perfect but for some reason they're just hard to get in the US right now.
Try acmetools

ok so what is the small piece that you’re replacing with a 10’?
Just a short 3’ test piece

Butt joints are fine.
Flashing and fasteners are much more important considerations.

The Dewalt Flexvolt “worm style” is probably the strongest out of a handful of very large, excellent saws, but what do you plan to cut? All the most powerful saws are large and hefty, and we’re at a point now where most newer compact saws can cut through 3/4” plywood all day without fuss. If you’re just going to be cutting 2x4s or slicing through 3/4” stuff in your back yard, you may find all the biggest, baddest saws are overkill.
Very true.
I do this stuff for a living and my FV stays at home.
61/2” with a FV battery does everything I need it to.

How can I press the “like” button ten times?

I couldn’t resist the value.
9AH FV battery came with the trimmer.
However, the head is not bump feeding correctly.
My kids used the 20v version today. A bit less power.
If you are edging a bit of grass, I wouldn’t upgrade, other than trying a FV battery on it.
My 60v gets into some heavy brush. It does okay.
Best upgrade is the string you use. Get the thickest that will fit.

I went with the 7-1/4" DeWalt. The portability and the fact I have the battery platform was the deciding factors. Saves space and makes all the cuts (slider) that my 10" did.
It will run better when you put a Flexvolt battery on it.
It will cut better if you true/tune it up. Lots of YouTube videos about how to get it to cut straight

Almost perfectly misdesigned.
- way too big for a phone charger when you can plug into a 12v socket, 20v battery/USB charger, or alternative phone battery.
- not big enough to give confidence enough to stowaway for a dead battery in the car.

Hopefully you didn’t give them your credit card number.
If so, you better cancel it.

It looks like it ratchets only one way.
A tool for setting threaded studs, which can be unscrewed after setting them?

I don’t know if Bosch really makes them anymore, but they had a belt sander that looked like a brick.
You could flip it upside down and put a fence on it.
I would certainly buy one of those in a cordless version in the yellow variety.

Hi!
I'm an industrial design student and this semester we are designing a cordless belt sander for one of the biggest tool manufacturers in the world (can't say who). I've been doing alot of research on belt sanders but I need input from people who actually use them!
Why have the big brands like Makita, Dewalt etc. not released cordless belt sanders yet? I know battery capacity is an issue.
What features would you like to see on a cordless beltsander that the current offerings on the market (Ryobi and Rigid) don't have?
Attaching a shopvac to a cordless beltsander seems a bit contradictory so can the dust bag be improved?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Dust collection not contradictory at all.
I often use one of my cordless sanders while hooked up to my cordless dust collector. I think it is even more necessary with a belt sander which produces more sawdust.
You working on a full size sander or a small one like the Makita?

I heard first quarter of this year, but we are rapidly approaching the end of it.
Prepare to be underwhelmed.

Would anyone know what's wrong with this nailer?

If it’s a stuck driver, you just loosen or remove the plate in front.
Probably two bolts.
You should see an extended piston.
It needs to retract back into the gun.
Sometimes loosening the plate is enough. Sometimes the piston needs convincing.
