  1. What makita tools are you using that require high output batteries? I assume you have several of the X2 tools with 6ah batteries?
  2. Yup, battery had malfunctioned. Here’s a shot from the owners manual
  3. For $220 you could get a Fein Multimaster with the 350 watt motor. I have all Makita tools, but the fein is by far superior in this category.
  4. The coffee maker DCM500Z comes with an optional battery adapter. https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/DCM500Z Specs on battery adapter are 18V DC output. A similar battery adapter powers the first version of the Makita backpack vacuum (for use with roto hammer dust extraction). I think this vac uses 18v X2–so 2 batteries. But I can’t recall that model #. Current model is XVC05Z I don’t think these adapters are sold separately, but they have individual part numbers for the breakdown list. I would bet a Makita dealer would purchase for you the battery adapter if you didn’t want to purchase the entire tool (coffee maker or backpack vacuum) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. User manual states output is 5V DC @ 2.1 Amps, per USB port. Both USB ports together would provide 5V DC @4.2amps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The US version is Makita model ADP05 https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/ADP05 It has two USB outlets, each put out 2.1 amps. I have one and use it to recharge my cell phone and power an air card. The Makita website link above has links at the bottom of the page to the manual and parts breakdown. That should provide all the info you need. But as for powering another device, I’m sure you simply need a cable with USB on one end and device specific connection on the opposite end. https://cdn.makitatools.com/apps/cms/doc/prod/ADP/330f481e-2dd3-4d13-a483-20ec418cdac4_ADP05-PB_Breakdown_ADP05_11-16.pdf https://cdn.makitatools.com/apps/cms/doc/prod/ADP/ff2be9f8-87bb-4e3f-9ac7-f78d45cc9f46_ADP05_IM.pdf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Makita has made adapters that allow for a cordless track saw. The model # is Makita 196953-0: a guide rail adapter that fits the 6-1/2" 18v brushless circular saw. Slap a 40T blade on the saw, and you have a rudimentary cordless track saw. I'm sure they will make an adapter for the new XSR01 18v X2 cordless worm drive coming out soon. https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/196953-0 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. This model has 3 speeds to choose from (hard/med/soft). Are you sure it's on hard (highest setting)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
