  1. I did notice it's slightly harder to look like in the flexvolt batteries on my 7 1/4 sliding miter. Not a big difference but yeah, noticeable Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  2. Dewalt should get on the hydraulic wagon. I use my Surge more then 80 percent of the time... It quickly became my favourite driver Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  3. Setting 2 is my favourite. Setting one is great for installing cabinet hardware. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk

  9. Yeah I hear ya. The whole M18 vs flex Volt discussion is a whole other story but I like how the dewalt miter can plug in as well if you do run outta juice Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk

  13. The surge is not designed for lags that's for sure but I'm just curious. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  14. I hear ya. I get some free gear with the expectation for the manufacturer to test them out and see what they are capable of and post my findings. It's a messy job but someone has to do it! Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  15. I know eh! I'll take the 5.0s any day! (for free) Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  16. I did some side by side testing with a surge and a M18 one key impact and the surge often times was faster with 3 inch deck screws. It handles self tapping screws great too. But using 6 inch lags is where she started to lag (lol) behind the impact. Technically it's not designed for big stuff. But regardless, it's an amazing driver! Much quieter! 17. Knarly! Good to see ya! I totally agree. I got the one key as well and I'm only reaching for the surge mostly! Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  18. That's for sure! It handles 90% of fasteners but not the big stuff so much. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks man! Just started the blog! More tools reviews to follow! Getting a flex Volt miter saw next week! Review to follow! Follow me on Facebook, instagram and YouTube. JR rusticdesign
  20. Milwaukee sent me a surge to review and it quickly became my favourite! So quiet! Keeps up with my M18 impact. I just wrote a short blog about it. http://jrrusticdesign.blogspot.ca/2017/01/milwaukee-m18-fuel-surge-hydraulic.html?m=1
