  1. Isn't Ridgid owned by Emerson Electric and TTi just makes most Ridgid power tools as OEM for Emerson.
  2. If you can bring the budget up to 500-600 you can get a pressure washer with triplex pump and Honda engine. This combo will make the unit last for ages and ages. The Generac onewash and troy bilt mentioned above both have axial cam pumps which rotate with the engine shaft (high speed) and will wear down much sooner than triplex which is crankshaft driven. The one I'd recommend is the Simpson Cleaning brand with 3,200 PSI, 2.8 GPM and Honda GX200 engine and CAT triplex plunger pump. It looks to be $500 on Amazon and model is ALH3228-S if you want to search around that will be your best bet and bang for the buck. Cheers
  3. Yeah, since the tool industry is mature it is highly consolidated. And it's only going to get more and more consolidated (as we saw recently with Stanley B&D buying Craftsman and Newell Brands tool biz). Just a few parent companies take in all the revenue and have the cash to buy up all the popular brands. There's this visual that I saw that shows what parent companies own what brands. Here's where it is if you want to look: http://pressurewashr.com/tool-industry-behemoths/#whoowns It is similar to the media game where 6 media companies own 90% of the news, newspapers etc. I think we'll see Stanley Black & Decker acquire more and more brands to dominate further in the industry.
  4. Nice haul. Milwaukee does decent tools. Will you stick with Milwaukee for your entire set? My buddy is an industrial electrician. Here's his everyday carry tools on the job:
