I guess my question was not clear. Will the B&D NiCad battery (18V single source) attach to the newer tools that normally use the 20V Lithium B&D batteries? Or are they physically different?

I have a Black&Decker tool with their 20volt lithium battery. Can I use a Black&Decker NiCad 18 volt batter in this tool?
