  1. Unfortunately. Our sales tax is 10.75% here. Because most of the coupons and points I had were all for HD, I couldn't buy it from anywhere else. But $260 out of pocket after all points and coupons is pretty awesome, even with the stupid sales tax.
  2. Ordered Milwaukee M18 10 inch Miter Saw from Home Depot. Was on sale for $469 on the Special Buy of the Day. Had a $10 dollar coupon and was out the door with tax for $508. Then had some various cash back coupons and Amex points that I have had forever and by the time it was all said and done, I paid $261 for this brand new saw!!!!
  3. I ended up buying the saw. I had some coupons which got me another $40 plus about another discount off with some American Express points I've had forever. Needless to say by the time I added it all up I ended up buying this saw for about $261!!!
  4. Milwaukee tools Deal of the Day from Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.com/SpecialBuy/SpecialBuyOfTheDay Home Depot has several deals on Milwaukee tools, the most notable being the 10 inch cordless miter saw for $469!
  5. Hi Fishunt, I think there might be some other options for you. Consider the Ridgid panel light which is 2,500 lumens and can run on both AC power and a Ridgid battery. I bought one of these and liked it so much that I went back to HD and bought another one, the Ridgid flood, and the Ridgid tripod! They have a deal going right now if you buy two Ridgid bare tools you get a charger and 2 ah battery free. You'll have a little more flexibility with the panel light and making it just throw in one direction or making it a near 360 degree light. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-GEN5X-18-Volt-Hybrid-Folding-Panel-Light-R8694221B/207041053?keyword=ridgid+panel+light As far as the Milwaukee stand light, they actually have a deal going on right now where you can buy the light and it comes with both a 5.0 ah battery AND a charger for $199 which is going on until 11/30. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Rocket-LED-Tower-Light-Kit-2130-20P/207121220?keyword=2130-20p
  6. Been looking at automated solutions for triggering a shop vac when a saw is turned on (either a table saw or miter saw). I found this: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/ivac-automated-shop-vacuum-switch?gclid=Cj0KCQjwgIPOBRDnARIsAHA1X3Tvt_9fc06KOGEv2S94fgohYC14Ij-MfSga31ywhMX174WTTAwHTd0aAsbfEALw_wcB The only problem I have with this is I have been considering getting a cordless miter saw because there are times where having a cordless saw would come in handy. Right now it looks like the Dewalt is the only cordless saw that has the option of an AC adapter but I really want the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 10 inch miter saw. I contacted Milwaukee yesterday to see if they were planning on offering an AC adapter option but I got a response from one of their Customer Experience advisers and they said as of right now they haven't been told of anything like this from their product team. I'd seen where Makita is going to release a cordless saw that will have bluetooth built in, but this would only work with their own dust collection system, which would probably be another $500! Just wondering if anyone has any ideas??
