  1. Welcome, you're in the right forum for anything tool related!
  2. 2 versions, the velcro holds pretty good but the magnetic version constantly fall off tool. Not impressed for the price.
  3. Normally Adirondack chair design uses joinery which is plenty strong without using glue for additional strength. Marine grade or waterproof glue won't add much more than a seal for the end grain, if it is joined with something like stainless steel screws, but can make it worthwhile. If you're doing white chairs (a few coats) of a good exterior grade paint sprayed on should not need a clear coat.
  4. Looks cool. I see it over on ToolGuyd. tool boxes, drawers, organizers, mounting and transport accessories, tool bags, and more.
  5. I wasn't in the market, I have the 22" rolling Packout, and the Packout small parts organizer, but couldn't pass up this deal and can always use more storage options in my garage when not traveling with them.
  6. Just got 3 pieces of the new Husky Build Out modular system. So far love it. Easy to connect, strong holding power, latches seem Pro quality, removable handle, (easy to store in pickup with a cover) and very well made and designed. The only flaw I saw were the 2nd and 3rd tops wont stay open unless you let the handle down, and they need to make more accessories. But "3" pcs at $159 vs my one Packout rolling box for $139? Wish I had waited and started with Husky. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Build-Out-22-in-Black-Plastic-3-in-1-Tool-Box-Set-HKYBO3/325054543

    Brand Rivalry

    That was hilarious!
  8. Sounds like a simple roofing job, but remember Avoid paying the full project cost upfront and you may want to pay with a credit card to give yourself a path of recourse in case something goes wrong.
  9. I would try buffing in some "Old English Lemon Oil Furniture Polish".
  10. Could possibly be that the first coat was not 100% dry before the second coat went on or some other moisture got trapped.
  11. Yeah I noticed a while ago that they list the same item in several different listings, and the one with all the negative reviews is usually "not available". Lol
  12. There is almost no such thing as US agents for customer service. Amazon, internet providers, and other companies purposely hire foreign agents from Philippines and India who are willing to work for peanuts. Americans wouldn't work for the amount of money they get paid. Early on Amazon looked like the world’s best company, (taking a loss in profits) to kill off all competition. Now that Amazon has captured market share, shipping, delivery, customer service has gotten worse.
  13. My pneumatic brad nailer quit so I bought a Milwaukee M18 brad nailer. Why doesn't Milwaukee nail guns come with hard cases? I understand it is easier to carry multiple tools in soft bags vs carrying several hard cases, but nail gun tips need to be protected. And for what Milwaukee charges they could give hard cases like some other brands. I guess they want you to keep buying packout crates to carry any new tools.
  14. From the photo it appears the aluminum piece is the door sill. But the photo does not show the surroundings. The wood can be sanded down and coated with polyurethane.
  15. I live in Chicagoland suburbs, and Lowes has the best quality, HD second and Menards is the cheapest in price but product quality is in question. Wood, Menards has the largest variety but the hardest time finding pieces that are not garbage. Fm2176 what you will find though is Menards sell way more non- home improvement store items than the other 2 combined. You name it dog food, deodorant, clothes, furniture, groceries, etc.

    Flashlights

Streamlight Stinger LED, has been the best flashlight I ever owned. I spent up to get a quality flashlight years ago when I started a side hustle doing Home Inspections, and it is definitely a great light. I bought so many cheap flashlights thinking it gives off light.... that's good enough. Boy was I wrong.
  17. I agree, Wiha biggest competitor is Wera (also out of Germany). But here in the U.S. I don't think they have a chance being so late into the bit / case making with Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, etc
  18. FYI for you guys that buy lumber regularly. I was at Lowes today and the military discount does not apply to lumber. I was told the discount "cannot be used on any sale item or with any other discount, major appliances, lumber, plywood, OSB or gift cards.
  19. Anyone have experience in this yet? I have an old corded Skill that needs a upgrade. Probably stick with a cordless Milwaukee, or DeWalt since I have both battery platforms.
  20. I bought the Milwaukee 0882-20 M18 Compact Vacuum for $99. Now I see why it was on sale from $171, it shuts off every 30 seconds or so. I sent it back for another one. This one is doing the same. So I checked the reviews on the Red Tool Store (something I wish I had did first) and there was 7 out of 9 with the same problem. I have never bought a Milwaukee product that I was this disappointed in. Milwaukee needs to find a fix for this issue!
  21. I have 10+ 12v batteries and some are harder than others. Some slide out others you have to “grip and rip”. Something I think Milwaukee maybe needs to be aware of.
