Make sure the belt rotates in the right direction. The inside of the belt should have an indicator of the proper direction. And yes, adjust the pitch with the tool running. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like Klein from the green colored handles; not Channellock. The Channellock do not do well with water, I have seen rust build up on/in some of my hand tools, just from humidity. For me, the Klein tools are worth the extra money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
