[Cleaning Under Trimmer Head??]

I've been searching for a way to remove the head on my 18v P2002 trimmer.  Grass sometimes wraps around the shaft under the head and there's no easy way to remove it.  It slows down the trimmer and puts a load on the motor and battery.  My 24v trimmer uses the same string and grass got tangled in it too.  Do I need to dissemble the whole thing to get at that spot?

Does anyone know of a source for 24 volt Ryobi batteries (OP242)?  I really like my 24v tools but I'd like an extra battery to charge while using the only one I have.

Home Depot is showing the price 3 cents under $80.  The $60 price sounds a lot better.  Who's selling them for that price?
