I just acquired an old Makita die grinder, I've taken the collet nut off and the collet seems to be stuck in the nut. It feels like Ill brake it to actually take it out. is this normal? am I missing something? Also Once I get the 1/4 inch collet out am I able to put a 1/8 inch collet inside the nut and use it with a Makita GD0800c die grinder? thanks.
