Well i would recommend Stanley tool set. Purchased one before. Ergonomically designed, decent quality, meet ANSI specs.

Wow, you better take it to the repair shop. There might be various reasons for that (bearring, gear, etc.). Is there any smell?

Why don't you email them directly? Local repairs might not be familiar with this issue. Do you have warranty for the tool ?

Was thinking of buying either Fein or Makita oscillating machine. What would you recommend guys? And why?

Also having Phil #3 and pretty satisfied. Not sure if i should change it.
