I picked up the Milwaukee string trimmer / pruning saw combo for use at my camp before the summer and have to believe that I am about due for a string reload. I haven’t had any problems with the factory trimmer head but really like the Echo rapid loader system shown below that I’ve used at home on my gas trimmer for years. Anyone had any luck or experience swapping out the OEM head to something like this? It’s a 2+ hour ride one-way to camp and the trimmer stays there so I don’t have the luxury of a “hands on” investigation at the moment. Thus far, Milwaukee has been unresponsive to my request for a shaft or arbor dimension / thread size. Any help would be appreciated.
