Old Man Logan

I replaced the gearbox/chuck assembly on my DCD996 and now I'm having difficulty with the direction switch. There doesn't seem to be any wear and tear or other damage on it; it's barely a year old. Anyone else having issues with the direction switch on their DCD996 or similar drill? Thanks in advance...
