I recently put a porter cable bandsaw together almost. I got stuck trying to adjust the blade guides and the blade is not centered in the throat. It’s hard to use with the throat open. Does anyone know about these two problems? Thanks

I’m a retired Methodist pastor located in NW Arkansas doing mostly woodwork and fishing a little. I’m new at serious woodwork but really like it even though at times I feel childish. I moved to this area because of family and I’ve got to say it is one beautiful place located in the Ozark with Beaver Lake right outside this community. My wife is a librarian at a local Bible college, Ecclesia. I’m hoping I can improve my skills before my son passes me. Looking for ward to being a part of this forum.
