  1. I am finishing new wood handrails. ... I first stained with natural color stain. Let dry for three days. Then varnished with natural color varnish. (Both products new cans of Min-Wax from Home Depot.) Waited three days and went back to put on a second coat of varnish. I had multiple small white spots scattered across the handrails. ... Depressing! ... Fine sanded the rails and hard sanded the white spots Am ready to try again. How do I keep from getting these white spots again? ... Also, a friend suggested I wipe down the rails with Mineral Spirits to remove any sanding dust from my fine sanding. Is this a recommended procedure and if so, how long should I wait to re-varnish after the wipe-down with the Mineral Spirits? ... Thanks for any help here. .
  2. Never tried Ryobi, but i've been using this Ariens Apex 60” Kawasaki for last 3 years. It's still work perfect. It has 60-inch cutting width, 24 HP Kawasaki engine, 8MPH forward and 4 MPH reverse speed, and a foot-operated deck lift.
  3. I will vote this CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless 13-in. The power is great and the weight is not bad. I even bought mine with a brush blade you can attach on to cut brush with it.
  4. Just get the DEWALT Sliding Miter Saw that one of my favorite and most versatile tools. I'll' use it mainly for woodworking projects. Audit power tools always help me choose the power tool for me.
  5. Hello! I'm Marion here from Peoria, AZ and I found this Board a few days ago. I like it so much, so I registered after all and I'm glad to be here now.
