  1. I need people's technical opinions on the film The Driller Killer. I already posted this question in cordless drills but hopefully more people will see it here. Put simply, in the 1979 film The Driller Killer the title character has an adaptor for his mains drill that allows him to run it off a power pack on his belt. The question is, with technology available no later than 1983, how practical is this? Would it be heavy? Would the drill be powerful enough to run amok? I have a genuine reason for this question!
  2. Pretending it is approximately 1983 what would be the difficulties of adapting mains drills to, I guess, a DC power source?
  3. Quick question, this seems like the right thread. In the film The Driller Killer, the killer adapts a mains power drill to run off a power pack on his belt. How feasible is this? How practical would it be to run amok with a power pack on your belt? Asking for a friend
