  1. By the way, am I correct that a drill that uses a Ni-CD battery isn't compatible with a Ni-Mh battery? Most of the ones I see at Amazon, etc. are Ni-Mh. One of the labels on my charger says, "Charge only 18V B&D Ni-Cd type power pack." Of course, in 2006, perhaps Ni-Mh wasn't available. Are they interchangeable? That would make my choices a lot easier. Bill
  2. Hello, The original battery pack that came with the B&D cordless drill that was built in 2006 is finally dying. Numerous similar-looking battery packs can be found on Amazon and elsewhere, but I'm not sure which one(s) is(are) compatible with the charger and drill that I have. The charger is built into a radio/drill stand. The battery slides onto the charger. The drill still works great. It would be a shame to have to trash it for a new one. Using the information provided below, can anyone suggest a battery that would be compatible with my charger and drill? I use Amazon Prime and would love to find one there. I can't be sure which one to choose.
