  1. Are Ryobi lithium ion drills any good? My first drill was the 18v nicad (about 5 years ago) and it was decent considering the price point. Just curious if the new lithium ion versions have improved over the years of if they still are light duty machines. thanks!
  2. first of all... i saw your review and immediately got one on order. This would come in handy for a lot of my jobs i do where im staying in a spot for a while. but when im on the move, I use the Bosch SBID9 multi-purpose bit set that comes with a small tool belt pouch. In my line of work i use a lot of different size nut drivers, philips, square, and extensions. this little guy is perfect for that.
  3. I work out in the elements a lot, and a good preventative measure for hand tools is to spray Liquid Wrench on moving parts every month. sometimes if i'm caught out in the rain then i will spray a few shots of it to prevent corosion overnight. I have never sharpened my tools personally, as usually there is always a new and improved model catching my eye that i just have to try out haha.
  4. Just bought the Ridgid x4 drill and impact combo after watching the TIA review. got a great price, $179 i believe, and so far has impressed me. I'm sure DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Makita might have better but the style and features fit my needs as a low voltage installer/ tech. Can't wait to expand my set and get a few more cool tools. Thanks guys at Tools In Action!
