Hello , just an update . I recently decided to try Woodsmith again . I stated it was ad free , well it’s not anymore. I was so let down . The look and feel is 100% different . Content is still good but … not sure I’ll go through with it . Anyway just wanted to give an update .

Thanks everyone I appreciate the input. I was at my nephews and he has the Atomic multi tool . We put my Dewalt blade on his and it went on and looked straight . We started it and stopped it and it did stop at different points in the arc. I guess my lack of experience with this tool got me worried . Thank you all again .

Hi wondering if someone can shed some light on an issue I noticed on my 356 multi tool . Tonight I used for the first time and noticed the wood blade that came with it ( I bought the kit) is not straight … it locks in at slight angle . I put the sanding head ( triangular ) on and it’s also off. Is this the norm ? This is my first use of a multi tool . It seems odd . I did make sure I was properly seated . Thanks I’m advance .

Wow , that certainly does not look right at all. My miter saw 713 packed with styrofoam and cardboard. I’d write the seller for sure . Good luck

Yes . What a difference on the batteries , nice and secure , no flickering light .

Just an update . I happen to call Amazon for a question and while talking I asked about my problem with thus hammer drill. The rep said I still was in the return window. I packed up and sent it back and today the new one arrived and no issues .

I get it I’ve not read magazines either but Woodsmith to Me isn’t really a typical magazine no ads and all instruction.

The last time I subscribed to Woodsmith it was still 100% ad free . I learned so much from it it’s really a great magazine

Hello , I purchased the DCD 996 kit from Amazon in late Nov. Unfortunately as my significant other has cancer I didn’t actually have to use it until recently. After I charged up the XR batteries ( included) I put the drill on a shelf with the spotlight on and noticed it flickers every time I touch it or move the drill . Has anyone else had similar problems? It’s past the return window and Dewalt wants me to send to service center . They did provide a mailing label. thank you

Hello , I am happy to have joined this forum. I’m 62 and did woodworking most of my life. Recently slowing down due to health . I have invested in a lot Of Dewalt tools .
