Hi all i am at wits end just burnt out 2nd dewalt thicknesser in 12 months 1st one repaired under warranty got it home not used for 2 / 3 weeks then bang sparkes flying out back of motor and burning smell , Round 2 counted my losses and bought another did some research and made a sled worked ok no actually real good , until i used my long sled for planks 3/6 passes in. guess what burnt out number 2 unit. any help much needed wood type hard wood eucalyptus gum, blades are new

did you get any good information on brushes and armetcher

hi pal have the same issus i have gone throught 2 units and today 12,3 2022 just done another . i am feed up they are obviously not designed for hard wood iam going get mine fixed under warranty with my other i might try to fix my self.
