I attempted to grease the hammer mechanism in my ryobi HP 1/2 inch drive impact wrench, part number P262. However, when I got everything apart and tried to separate the planetary gear set and hammer mechanism housing from the motor, I could not get it apart. Does anyone know how they come apart? I can't find any information online about it, are they simply glued together and tamper proof? I know that the new high torque ryobi impact can be taken apart and greased but what about the mid torque, P262?
