  1. Chris knowing that THD has exclusive rights to Ryobi products, may I ask you what you paid? I am assuming that had to charge some type of markup.
  2. You guys do realize that the Dewalt did not have a large assortment of hand-tools until they merged withe Stanley. Once it became Stanely-Black and Decker Dewalt hand tools flooded the market. If you buy a Dewalt hand-tool, you are basically buying a stanely. Nothing wrong with that, but that is why. PS. This is exactly what pennywise said, but I didn't read his post until after I typed it.
  3. The price point is really high. I special ordered one for a guy about 2 years ago, I want to say it was like $700 bucks. I was suprised when ordering it how much it was.
  4. Well they rolled out new M18 Multi-tool a few months ago, so I would assume that they wont be making a brushless version in a m12 or m18 anytime soon.
  5. Quite simply one of the greatest analogies ever used.
  6. The only one of those that I know is in the states is the Milwaukee Tape Measure deal. The other two are not to my knowledge.
  7. The Ryobi will a special buy in all stores(well the vast majority) beginning at the start of may.
  8. I have the brushed M12 Hammer, it is just as light as the Drill/Driver. You can usually score some type of promo with the Hammer Drill too. Just my two cents.
  9. We currently have a Dewalt, Stanley fatmax, and Milwaukee wingstacks with this type of promo in my store. I have the Fatmax 25 and 16, even though I love Milwaukee I really cant justified it.
  10. I have a chevy cruze too. It was my first new car purchase and I am only $500 more dollars and I own it free and clear. Figure I would drive it through college. It is not a bad car, not the greatest. I do find myself lusting over a Ram 1500 regular cab.
  11. Some Dewalt hand tools are at THD, like utility knifes, tape measures, and hand saws. Those shouldn't be available at Sears to my knowledge.
  12. Those look exactly like the Hitachi bits that they used to have.
  13. It is home show week in Grand Rapids, so we have lots of vendors and different companies at the Devos Center in Grand Rapids. Don't really know if other cities in Michigan do a Home Show, or they are just using the weekend to sturr(spelling?) up excitement for spring.

    First Ryobi tools...

Ryobi serves a purpose. When the Drill/Driver Impact Combo was $99 bucks or even $129 we couldnt even keep it in stock. Ryobi serves a purpose and very very rarely ever had any negative feedback about ryobi other than the batteries. But lets be honest with ourselves, thats the problem with all powertools.
  15. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-Fuel-18-Volt-Brushless-Lithium-Ion-Hammer-Drill-Impact-Driver-XC-Combo-Kit-with-Free-M18-Sawzall-2797-22-2620-20/204663042 Promo is in the store as well. I would go Milwaukee IMO specially with a better promo.
